Dan at the South Euclid location is very helpful and kind. I received texts and calls letting me know the process my vehicle was in. My car was ready when promised. I would recommend Crash Champions if you need repairs.

Some of the WORST customer experience I’ve ever received, and I’ll tell you why: I got into a car accident on 12/12. When I spoke to my claims coordinator to report the accident, she recommended this place. I was weary they were going to tow it here, which I knew would be about a 40 min drive, rather than the two closer shops on Mayfield and in South Euclid. But I went with their recommendation, despite the fact that I have another body shop through Toyota on Mayfield Rd that I loved working with. My car was towed on 12/12 to this shop. I picked up my rental car same day. On Monday, 12/16, my technician, Anthony, called me to walk me through the repairs and said they were waiting for someone to come tear it down and check the inside. I called back on that Friday, 12/20, and no progress had been made. At that time I expressed that I had 30 days on my rental and I needed my car completed in this time. They said it would likely take until mid-late January to be ready, and they would call me the next week to confirm the timeframe. I didn’t receive a call from them, so I called Progressive on 12/27 and expressed the same concern of my 30-day rental window to them and that I wanted to be proactive in having a solution if it wasn’t going to be done on time. The woman assured me that she would speak to the body shop and ensure it would be completed on time. I received a text that same Friday, 12/27, that my car would be completed by 1/7. I received another text on 12/30 and 12/31 saying it was still going to be ready on 1/7, and then another update on 1/1 saying they were nearing completion and would call me to let know if there were any delays. I received nothing again from either Progressive or Crash Champions again until the day I was supposed to pick up my car, at which time I received a notice that it would be ready some time between 1/7 and 1/10. My technician then called me at 4:57 on Thursday, 1/9, and I wasn’t able to answer because I was in a meeting at work. He left me a message acknowledging that they closed in THREE minutes and he’d call me the next morning, with no other information regarding my car. By the time I called back at 5:03, I received the automated line. He then called me the next morning to tell me there was an issue with a truck breaking down and the part wouldn’t get there on time. I informed him that my rental was due back today, 1/10, and I needed a solution from him on who was going to be responsible for the cost, at which time he said he’d speak with his general manager. He then called me back and told me the GM had no intention of covering the cost of my rental, and didn’t provided any explanation as to why there was no communication for over a week. I also was told from a representative at Progressive that the new estimate for completion is 1/15, but have yet to receive any update from the body shop of this update. The representative actually informed me that Crash Champions uses a third party system to send these updates, and unless the system is manually updated, the information would not reflect correctly. He also mentioned that this is apparently not the first time clients have expressed frustration with the poor communication from this body shop. I understand there was extensive damage done to my vehicle, and that sometimes delays occur, but I called multiple times more than 2 weeks in advance to express my concern and find a solution so I wouldn’t be in the position I am today, which is frantically trying to work out my rental with Progressive so I am not without a car. Being told it will be done on time and then cancelling my pickup date the DAY OF on TWO separate occasions is not only not a solution, but horrible customer service. In the future, I will be using the Toyota body shop on Mayfield Rd for any repairs or updates, like I should’ve done in the first place. I will never use this company again.
