My car needed a tow. My insurance contacted Cross Fire. Roger with 1A tow truck showed up. He said it is the same company. Roger was very professional and courteous. He got my car on to the truck and we were on our way to my designated mechanic in about 10 minutes. And his truck was clean and neat. That’s a big plus since I need to ride with him.

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Crossfire Towing in Valley Stream. It all began when my car broke down, leaving me in need of a tow. I promptly called Geico roadside assistance, and unfortunately, they dispatched Crossfire Towing to my location. Initially, I was given a reasonable ETA of 55 minutes, which seemed manageable given the circumstances. However, as the minutes turned into over an hour and a half, I began to grow increasingly frustrated. Every time I called for an update, I was met with the excuse of heavy traffic, despite the fact that my car broke down only two miles away from their office. While the tardiness was certainly frustrating, it was the behavior of the tow truck driver that truly compounded my dissatisfaction. From the moment he arrived, he displayed a confrontational attitude for no apparent reason. Despite having explicitly informed Geico that two people would be riding with the driver, he seemed to take issue with this arrangement. After an unnecessary argument with the driver, I contacted the owner of Crossfire Towing to address the situation. Immediately, the owner was understanding and agreed to accommodate our request. However, the driver continued to argue with his boss, displaying a complete lack of professionalism. After a prolonged argument with his boss, the driver finally agreed to the owner’s word that we would be riding with him. Despite this resolution, the situation took an even more troubling turn upon arriving at my home with the car. Rather than properly parking the car, the driver left it illegally in the middle of the road, putting me at risk of receiving a ticket. When I requested assistance in moving the car to my driveway, the driver responded with further disrespect, refusing to lend a hand and suggesting that we handle it ourselves. Thankfully, after another call to the owner, three additional employees were dispatched to assist us. While these individuals were extremely helpful and apologetic, their efforts were overshadowed by the abhorrent behavior of the tow truck driver. In reflecting on my experience with Crossfire Towing, I am left with a profound sense of disappointment. While I wanted to acknowledge the prompt response from the owner and the assistance provided by the 3 other employees, the disrespectful and unprofessional conduct of the driver cannot be overlooked. As such, I am compelled to give Crossfire Towing a 1-star rating and will be seeking alternative towing services in the future.

Shout out to Derek and the staff at Crossfire towing! My mom's car had all four tires stolen off her car Saturday night/Sunday morning. Geico put them on the task of towing our car to the shop today. Even with a little confusion and some miscommunication, Derek was most helpful, even when I was kind of freaking out a bit. Thank you, Derek! You were fantastic!

My car stopped on the way from the Florist! A big shout out to Alex( with the beard). He called to let me know he was on the way, diagnosed my problem immediately, offered to wait until my ride came and even told me to make sure not to leave the flowers in the car. A total gentleman. I give him 100 stars😊
