RUN FROM THIS AUTO SHOP!!! It took them 2 months to fix my car, which was supposed to be a one-day job. Their communication is horrendous—they constantly ignored my calls and questions. I went in because my car had stopped running, and they diagnosed it as a fuel pump issue. After getting the quote, I asked them to go ahead with the repair. What should have been a quick fix turned into a nightmare. Harold, the mechanic assigned to my car, repeatedly lied to me. He told me the car was ready three times, but every time I went to pick it up, it hadn’t even been touched. It was still sitting in the same spot. The owner was no better—completely unresponsive and full of excuses. They seem to love wasting people’s time! The only reason the work eventually got done was because of a different mechanic, Andres, who stepped in when Harold couldn’t even do the job he was assigned. Absolutely terrible service; I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

My name is Annie. I went to have my car fixed for a dent and paint that was cracked near the door handle. The repair was done perfectly. I was very pleased with the result. Joseph the owner is very professional and very friendly. The price is reasonable. I highly recommend this body shop to anyone, and I will definitely send my friends and family to Joseph if they need any repairs.

I recently had both body work and mechanical service done at D&L Auto Repair & Body Shop Inc. in Queens Village, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Joseph, the owner, was incredibly professional and took care of all my concerns with a high level of honesty and transparency. It's rare to find a mechanic who doesn’t try to upsell unnecessary services, and Joseph's approach was refreshing. The work was completed in a timely manner, and the quality was excellent. Everyone has expectations when they go to either the Dealer or Commercial shops when they need car repairs. Usually its a very big place, with a waiting area and/or lounge. We would wait and wait until we are called by number or name just to be told “ your vehicle is ready and please pay the bill at the cashier” then you are on your way. I admit I was one of those people until I came here and met Joseph and his team. At first look I was guilty of judging a book by it’s cover. It looked like every local mechanic shop, nothing too fancy or brag about. But what was a refreshing surprise was how personable and attentive the owner was. He took the time out to actually greet me, asked how he can help and was upfront about pricing. Once pricing was agreed upon he has you meet the team member that will be servicing your car. They are very professional and always willing to answer any question you do have. It’s this quality of service that makes you want to return to them (should it be needed) over and over again. They don’t over charge to maintain the look of a fancy garage. They charge fairly to make it affordable for their clients and in the same time making sure the staff and overhead are taken care of. So I guess at the end, its the care for the individual and their needs that makes me go back everytime. If you ever need repairs for your vehicle give this place a try, ask for Joseph. Joe is the best! Joe and his team are extremely professional and offer exceptional service! My car was repaired by D&L and now looks fresh off of the lot. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for high-quality work.
