Dahl Subaru Service

I’ve had good experiences here in the past, but today was quoted $130 for a multi-point inspection when all I wanted was confirmation that the sound my car makes could likely be the wheel bearing. A decent mechanic can do this in thirty seconds with a test drive. Even if I wanted a full inspection, I’ve never paid more than $90 for one. Seems like a classic case of a big business being inflexible to customer needs.

2019 Crosstrek purchased 2022 from Dahl Subaru with extended warranty 3000$ Had the A/C Serviced was 299$ Just to look at it ! Found a supposed wire chew by mice replaced Wire 150$ I could kinda see maybe the 150$ but 450$ Is quite ridiculous and sketchy to say the least

Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Left the vehicle for repair and they refused to service it. They said they wouldn’t service it due to “health reasons”. They said I needed to clean it first. However, I just had a recall service done there at the same dealership, in the same department, and even though my vehicle was less clean then, they had no problem performing the service. The appointment I made this time was for them to remove a mouse. They new what the service was to be, made the appointment knowing what the service was to be, then refused to perform the service. They are the closest Subaru dealer to me—a 45 minute drive—but due to their refusal to perform the service I am now choosing to drive 1.5 hours to get service. It costs me more time and gas money to go the other dealer, but for me it’s much better to take the extra expense than to work with a dealer that has proven to be 100% unreliable. Photos to follow.

Since moving to WI, I've not been impressed with Dahl Subaru Service...until today's visit for recall repair. Jake made me feel like a truly valued customer and I am encouraged. Look forward to returning! Thank you Jake!

I thought Jake and the service department went above and beyond with diagnosis, communication and completion regarding the several items needing attention to make the car most safe for driving the rest of the winter. Also, some major flexibility was in place due to a situation where I was an owner 300 miles away from La Crosse, so pick-up of the car had some special circumstances involved. All in all, it was a great outcome that could have gone sideways without the help of Dahl.
