Dan’s is the best place to bring your car in Long Island!! As a 25-year-old women, anywhere I bring my car for service I automatically get taken advantage of. Dan’s auto is trust worthy and professional. All of their mechanics obtain a true level of craftsmanship, that is incomparable to any other auto body shop. They put all efforts into what they’re working on and it shows. My car is never there for longer than 2-3 days, and that’s with a serious issue. I don’t ask them to work that timely, that’s just how they operate. Their work is real quality, they do the impossible!!!!! No one should be intimidated when they see their engine light on in their car. When I see my engine light on, I go straight to Dan’s auto in new Hyde Park. Their service is efficient, timely and accurate. Before finding this shop, I was taking my car to the dealership and other body shops. I have been ripped off beyond belief. I am so grateful that now I have a shop that I can depend on. Dan’s is the way to go!!! They’re the best!!!! No wonder they have 5 stars *****

Andy is a true master and a gentleman as well. My experience with his shop was outstanding! I recently went to Dan’s for a persistent problem that I was having, malfunction readout of the TPMS on my 2011 Maserati GT. I made an appointment and was met promptly by Andy who carefully listened to the history leading up to the malfunction readout. Within 15 minutes he diagnosed the problem and made the necessary corrections. I had brought the car to the dealer 2 times and to a TMPS specialist twice, neither was able to correct the problem! I highly recommend this shop if what you care about is getting the work done correctly the first time by a pro versus the trial and error method that you might experience at other shops.

Andy is definitely a very good mechanic, but he will over charge you big time for the parts! Bring your own parts, ask the labor price ahead and you will have no unpleasant surprises!! 5 stars for the labor 1 star for super super parts prices!! (I got charge 400$ for a part that costs 200 )

I had my engine light on for a while now and decided to take it to Dan's. They fixed it but the light came back on again. They kept trying until it got fixed and I passed inspection. Did not charge me for visits after the first one. Great courtesy and customer dealing. Willing to help, Highly RECOMMENDED!!!!!
