This place is amazing!!!! I dropped in at 1:25pm on a Friday. I needed to get an inspection done. I was so shocked when I came in. I saw a ton of cars in the parking lot and I was like "oh wow they're busy they'll never be able to take me today. I thought about asking if I could drop off my car tomorrow to do an inspection. Dave Banks walked up to me and told me he could do it right now in under an hour. He said his tech was suppose to eat, but asked him if he could skip his lunch to help me put and get it done immediately while I waited in the waiting room. I sat down in the waiting room and was asking about the business since it was my first time here. He said he's been in business for 35 years, but it's more like 50 years since he helped out at his parent's shop. He's been in the Lindenhurst location for 6 years. In less than 10 min my inspection was done! It was a rush job for my convince. This place is amazing! This is your new go to mechanic shop! Don't go anywhere else!

My car broke down near Dave Bank’s auto repair and I live about an hour away. I had my car towed here and I’m so glad I did. Dave was friendly, honest, and affordable and I really enjoyed the vibe at his shop. I had a great experience, which offset my stressful situation. Definitely recommend!

A HUGE shout out to Dave Banks Auto Services!! He came highly recommended plus great reviews so I took my car to him for an inspection. Last year I got one somewhere else and spent almost 2 grand fixing things for it to pass…meanwhile, the mechanic must’ve screwed me over because it wasn’t showing my car was inspected in the DMV database leaving me unable to renew my registration. A whole headache! Dave and his crew really helped us out. I will be taking my cars to him from now on because I know I’ll get an honest mechanic and reasonable prices! No more anxiety going for inspections lol

Dave Banks shop is lifesaver. They have kept our older car in best condition for many years. I trust them completely . We sent a Family member to them after they were told by 2 other shops their car needed a $1000. + Repair. Dave said it only required small fix cost $25. That was 5 years ago and it's still running great!
