Dave Wert Automotive

Dave Wert does excellent work at a fair price. He is an honest guy and he doesn’t con his customers into getting work done that doesn’t need to be done or that they didn’t ask for. He is the only mechanic in San Clemente that I trust and I have been to a few. I have entrusted Dave with all of the work on my daughters car. Trustworthy, fair priced, and timely work! Thanks Dave!

I've been going to Dave's for two years now after my experience with Big O. He is an honest and fair mechanic. He always gives me a price upfront and never have I been charged more than that price. He sometimes takes a little long, but for a shop with only a handful of people he moves pretty quickly through his work. I have recommended Dave to everyone I know and will continue to do so.

Dave's shop isn't pretty, but the cost savings are BEAUTIFUL! He has saved me SO much $$, especially on my kids' vehicles. Example: my son's Toyota truck's differential. He took it to a place down the street (he didn't follow Dad's directions to find Dave's somewhat "out of the way" place), and was quoted a price higher than the value of the truck :( I pushed it from there down the street to Dave who replaced the differential for approximately 40% of what the other place quoted. Dave literally saved the truck.

Ended up at over 40% the quoted price, 4 weeks past expected time before I was able to drive my vehicle safely (had to take it somewhere else) still missing functions that were present before I took my vehicle here with no explanation except "call us back if you still cant figure it out." Great guy but wont be going back.
