This is a really great team here at Del Mar Auto! Hutch, Arthur - everyone has always treated me so kindly here. When I pull up, they drop what they are doing to come say "Hi" and check out what is going on with my car. It really feels warm and caring. They also give really honest feedback which makes me feel comfortable in taking their advice. 5 stars - thanks y'all!

I only gave a star because I can’t write the review unless I select a star. folks beware of this place the owner is a two-faced greedy individual. I took my car there to have a CV joint replaced and the employee that did the job did not do the job correctly afterwards my transmission seal leaked fluid. I try to get the owner of the shop calls himself hutch don’t know if that’s his real name as he’s not a Caucasian lol ,anyway I tried to reason with him over a week talking to him over the phone dropping in person around my work schedule to no avail the outcome for him was on his terms, he did nothing wrong or his shop, and I would have to pay again for him to fix the issue I disagreed he became hostile and told me to get off his property. Furthermore, he doesn’t seem to know much about cars. He doesn’t test drive his mechanics work or check it .when I got my car back. It had all kinds of noises coming out of the side that was worked on . He double charged me , the repair should’ve been 250 for labor and he charged me 450 for labor. Beware this guy likes to charge for his and his employees incompetence and charge you a second time to fix it .i did take it elsewhere and they confirmed CV axle was not installed properly and the seal was damaged during installation, which is why I had transmission fluid leaking .

Fabulous personal service, great communication and very fair price. Highly recommend them - Hutch and Arthur were particularly helpful and went over and above to make sure everything was sorted.

I was going to buy a used car from a private owner. I basically didn't have any car knowledge, this was my first time to buy a car. So I came in for professional opinions. They were nice and charged me 65 bucks. One week later, I needed to change the oil and there is something wrong with the driver's door. Moreover, I was told the tires were old and needed to change. I called to complain but they didn't think it's their responsibility.
