I took my car in because of a draw on the battery. A few days later they texted me that the problem was the aftermarket viper alarm system. I approved the repairs for $350 + 150 diagnostic. A couple days later i went to pick up the car. I tried the remote start but it would not work. I talked to the tech to find out what was going on. He told me that he pulled the fuses to the viper alarm system; because that was causing the draw, also disabling the remote start. The text they sent me said nothing about disabling the viper system. I was in shock. I expressed my disappointment with the lack of communication. They did reduce my bill to $450. So basically a miscommunication costed me $300. I would have liked to know that they could not fix the system. I would have been happy to pay the 150 for the diagnostic, then get a a new system installed somewhere else.
