Delaware Automotive is the BEST shop in town!! They always get me in the next day, and they call me with an update so quickly after dropping my car off. I feel like they’re honest about what needs fixed and how much it’ll cost. Almost every time I check out it ends up being less than they quoted me. And today they even replaced a taillight for free! Last time they drove me out to my car where it was being towed. Super great guys. I won’t take my car anywhere else!

We’ve taken our car to Delaware Automotive Service twice and both times we’ve been thoroughly impressed with their service. The guys are easy to talk to and explain things well. They were quick and were able to offer us same day service. We felt they were honest and their services were priced fairly! We will definitely be going back in the future!

As far as I can tell, this place rocks some socks! Took the car here for an oil change on a whim because it was decently close to my place and also because they had an oil change deal on their website for $21.95 which is a really decent price. Didn't expect too much, but when I accidentally missed my appointment they were still able to get me in same day, which was SUPER nice and I appreciated that so much! I also appreciated that they were mindful of whether or not I was going to need to wait for the car, which I did need to. I ended up needing a new oil drain plug and was surprised that they only charged me an extra $20! I honestly have no idea how much, comparatively, other places would have charged, but honestly for something additional $20 sounded quite alright to me! The service really didn't take too long and the cost was really good! I will DEF be coming back to this place! The service was also pretty friendly which is highly appreciated! :)

Transparency and Honesty! Asides from these guys offering relatively affordable services, they keep to their words without questions. Had a wheel alignment here few months ago and later developed issues with the alignment. They reevaluate and fixed the issue without additional cost to me! Asides that, I was supposed to do a tire rotation, but did not really drive my car for couple of months. Without them knowing, I came in for a tire rotation and they inspected and told me I don't need one as my tires are still good! Other auto shops would have done it OR even not do anything and tell me they have. Practically these guys told me to save my money (and they don't need to lie to me just to get my money). This is RARE!

My wife's rear brakes started making noise and with our busy schedule, I opted to drop the car at a national chain that was close to my office out of convenience. When they called and claimed she needed pads and rotors all the way around and the brake fluid absolutely had to be replaced at a cost of $1,500 I told them to put it back together and called Delaware Automotive Service on the advice of a friend. This was the Friday after Thanksgiving and they were able to get me in the following Monday, determined that only the rear pads and rotors needed done now, and the fluid was fine. The price was extremely fair, the work was done by lunch time, and they were transparent and thorough to work with from start to finish. I knew we'd be overcharged and attempted to be upsold by the big box store before going in - and had accepted that out of convenience - but never to the degree of price gauging and dishonesty we experienced. Even if we had elected to have all of the work done suggested by the chain shop, the cost at DAS would have been significantly lower. We'll be back to DAS and will be sure to steer friends and family their way as well!
