There is no other auto shop like this shop. Peter can and has worked on cars from model Ts all the way to 2018 vehicles ranging from diagnosing electrical issues to paint jobs fabrication and building high performance motors. There is a good reason peters saying is “We heal cars” not one car leaves the shop undiagnosed. I would recommend any one to Peter, it’s the only shop who gets things done right the first time; not to mention the warranty Peter provides he makes sure his customers are well taken car of. Beat hot rod shop in Ventura county I’d love to say more but no one reads this far.

Peter Derrico is one of the best mechanics I've ever experienced. Honest and precise he always comes though with excellence. I would bet the previous reviewers ignored maintenance instructions by Peter after their work was complete. Although you cannot predict everything that could go wrong on a car, Peters foresight (with the help of a responsible car owner) is uncanny. Peter is a true artist in this field!

I always take my car to Pete. He is a wonderful mechanic and does what it takes to find the problem and fix your vehicle. I have been there several times and would recommend him. He is great!! I don't know why some people gave him bad reviews. Pete is smart and will find the answer to any mechanical issue your vehicle has.

Peter is either an awful mechanic or a very deceptive person. Took his time to rebuild an engine, most of the time it sat in the corner of his unorganized and messy garage. Supposed to calibrate and rebuild the carb, never did. Installed HEI distributor, didn't tune it and also wired it in wrong. Overall I wouldn't trust him to change my oil. Refrain from going here and save yourself the headache.

Trust me when I say, STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY! Reminds me a good old fashioned, smooth, fast talking shyster. A wolf in sheep's clothing you might say. This guy had my car for over two weeks for something that should have taken no more than 3 days. The first time he called me to come pickup my car, I couldn't even drive it. The car literally would not turn to the left. Smash cut to a week later when he called me again to pickup the car, only this time I found it still on the lift and leaking antifreeze (bad). It was so obvious, only I was the one who had to point it out to him. Then there was my power steering pump that was leaking (not that way when I brought it in), that he denied having done anything to it, but did end up fixing (sort of). For some unknown reason he took it upon himself to repaint the pump (the wrong color). This was a classic automobile that had a very nice patina finish on the original pump, before he got hold of it. For someone who has been in the business for years, I found his abilities and workmanship to be subpar at best. There were some other things that took place during this ordeal, but you get jist of what I'm getting at. I ended up having to get the Bureau of Automotive Repair involved to try get recoup some expenses for the damage he caused, but he refused to do anything about it. Get yourself another mechanic because this guy will take you for a ride.
