Took my dad’s f250 7.3 to have oil change. Customer service and completeness of the service was excellent. They go over everything they looked at and let you know if any upcoming recommendations or immediate fixes needed, very honest people. I would recommend you call a day or so in advance as they can get busy. Which is expected for any shop that does quality work.

Charged me $160.00 to tell me that they couldn’t fix my vehicle. What a bunch of BS/scam. Not taking this kind of abuse, I”ll see Desert Automotive in small claims court!

I am a vintage person, and have driven vintage cars, the last 20+ yrs. First went to Desert Automotive over 14 yrs ago, to rent a U Haul, and was at that time impressed--while only renting the truck, was treated like I was one of their best clients (they treat all clients, like they are the best) they were busy, but having rented in past (w/others) -never was treated with the respect I was shown that day. I have used their automotive service on 3 occasions, it the last 14 yrs. 3 different cars in all that time. First time, the same customer service, cost was less than others had told me, told me after first check up that might be a few days, up front with that all the time, which was fine with me - might add that they are always busy and guess the word has gotten around. They told me "We don't want you walking" another bonus - they meant it- gave me a ride and p/u ride each time, so they really meant it when said don't want you walking. Can not say enough about the auto service on car, and the care for the client, was with me on all issues, and the cost, explained ( I needed that) everything. Was also pleased and a bit surprised, to see the same people, in office and other mechanics in shop, as had 14 years ago. If the same people are there after 14 years, it has meaning a lot of meaning. They are good at their job, and they work in a place where everything is respected, Customers, and all those that work with you. If not good, they would not be there. You will never do wrong, to check them out, I remember as they said "we don't want you walking" Have my truck back, (fri) working great and I am not walking anymore.

We have had all hitch work and other work done here, to our motorhome and other vehicles ever since moving to the upper desert. They are great to work with, do great work and are reasonable. I would highly recommend this shop.

These guys are top notch! They took a look at our vehicle, gave us an estimate and didn't even charge us for their time! Unfortunately we will be getting rid of said vehicle but will definitely go back to them with the new ride
