Discount Tire

About a year ago I went to this store to get all 4 new tires put on my 2017 Chevy Equinox. Greg told me during the middle of them replacing the tires that the lug nuts were swollen and needed replaced because they wouldn’t be able to get them back in their socket to bolt them back down. I know that was complete crap cause I recently had the wheels off doing brakes on it and I was a mechanic for about 8 years of my life. I didn’t want to argue it or question it so I said alright whatever just replace the lug nuts then. Fast forward to today, I took my truck in because my tire light was on because my front tire pressure wasn’t reading. Dealt with Greg again and he took my keys and went out into the parking lot to look at it. He came back in and said all my sensors are bad and I need all new tires. I told him no on the tires because they are actually in pretty good shape and next time I get some I want to research more on what tires I’m buying. He tried to pressure me by saying we are getting 10 inches of snow this weekend (when the forecast is calling for 1-3 and last night I literally was driving in the middle of a snowstorm and my vehicle was handling like a dream in it) I asked how much to replace all the sensors even though I know only the one was bad and he said he can’t replace the sensors unless I replace the tires. I said screw this place and took my truck to the dealership. I told them the story and they chuckled and shook their head about it. They replaced my one sensor no issues at all and now everything is great. I will never go to this location ever again and tell everyone I know to stay far away. People like Greg make it so hard for people to trust anyone working on their car

Ordered new tires online from store in Fenton..had appointment for Monday at 8:15..was told to be there 10 minutes early..arrived at 5 to 8 as they were opening the door..went in, gave them my keys, they went to work. At 8:13 they pulled up with my car and I was gone!! I love this store!! I have used them for years. Always a great experience!!

The actual people and location were wonderful. Very helpful and understanding. Also very accommodating and wanting to fix issues quickly. I believe their corporate office needs to revamp the inventory system which will help solve a lot of issues the stores have.

I want to give a big thank you to all the guys working here last night.. I caught a curb and it took 2 of my tires out around 330pm after calling to make sure they were in stock I then made the tow truck arrangements to get me there and as we all know with insurance tows can take forever to get to you. Although my tow truck driver was amazing still had a distance to get to me the guys at discount waited for me. I'm 8 months pregnant and instead of telling my I was out of luck they took me in 5 minutes after close with all hands on deck and got my tires on in a flash. This kind gesture that the didn't have to give to me saved me in the long run with all the stress that I could have faced they saved me. I live out in macomb so they saved me time for having to spend extra days on it along with finding a ride to and from and extra stress from having to wait and being with out a vehicle. Thank you so much the guys here need a raise and I will always be appreciative to them.

I had a bad valve stem on one of my rv tires, they got me fixed up very quickly at no charge and I was going down the road in 20 minutes, friendly people, all good
