Don Glo IV Of Yonkers Service Center

My building at Fleetwood Park in Bronxville has a contract with these people. I called them at 6:30. They responded two hours later to tow a vehicle that was parked in my parking spot. There was a bit of a delay while the guy was prepping. I call him and ask what’s the hold up he says he broke one of his straps, and that he was waiting for someone to bring him a new strap to remove the vehicle out my spot. I eventually got tired of waiting and parked my car somewhere else and walked back to my parking spot in the complex and noticed the car that was supposed to be towing the car driving right by me and when I called the main office, they told me that they responded to another call. I was boggle because I thought his straps were broken They said the guy that was bringing the straps was going to be handling the job. my building should be looking for a new contract.

We’ve been going to Donglo for years, probably over 20 years! Never had an issue and they are always helpful. They don’t try to upsell you on work not needed. We’ve had basic work to advanced work done. Always happy with the work. Countless tows (in the past with older cars) and the fact they’re with AAA, I can request the tow from them if needed.

I had an issue with an engine oil leak , on my 2010, Honda Accord ,that was serious and spoke to Fred and with , I think his name is Doug. I had the problem taken care of. These guys are courteous, and always willing to work with you. I have bought my car to Don Glo on several occasions and have always walked away satisfied due to the service. I will continue to bring my car over and recommend these guys.

Trustworthy When it comes to auto mechanics, just as with lawyers, trustworthiness is not the most abundant commodity. A knowledgeable friend recommended Don Glo of Yonkers to me when I realized that the mechanic I had for many years was apparently not eager to keep me as a client,,and I've never had any cause to regret acting on that recommendation. They have earned my trust as much for what they don't do as for the work they have done. On several occasions I've wondered if work needed to be done, they've inspected to find the possible problem and have concluded that nothing needed to be done. None of these cases has later contradicted their diagnosis. In such instances, I would classify myself as a sitting duck since I know very little about the workings of cars. In such situations, I have not always been so fortunate with other mechanics, so I consider myself fortunate to have found them.

Needed a tow truck to get my car out of the nypd pound in The Bronx and have it inspected. Only way to get my car out was to get a tow truck. I contacted AAA , they recommended 6 stations. After checking out all 6, I choose Don Glo because of all the positive reviews about towing. I called and spoke with Doug, he couldn’t have been more helpful. We arranged a pick up with his next available truck. A few hours later he called and had the truck pick me up and take me to the pound. John the driver was very professional. He had to get my car out of the yard. Some red tape made our wait a little longer Finally he got my car, put it in the flat bed and drove me to where he picked me up. Great guy. Then I spoke with Doug again about the inspection of the car. They would have to do it the following day. I ask if he wanted payment and he said I’ll call you tomorrow. Next day Freddy called me , car was ready and all that service was $275. I was astonished with the professionalism of all the men that I dealt with. I will never bring my car back to the dealership. You have a lifetime customer and I’ll always recommend your outstanding company.
