Crooks illegally towed my vehicle; lied to me that no one would be there for me to claim my vehicle; hid and turned off the lights once I saw them; looking forward to taking them to small claims court!

I think Dr.Hook towing service is great, Edith is very friendly professional and so willing to help. All of the staff we came in contact with has been amazing. I would recommend them completely.

Sucks I got to leave 1 star for this scam of a place they are crooks for sure. I am glad they sleep well at night but they shouldn’t. Their tow rate is looked in at $450 no matter what. There is no justification for this tow company. Simply an evil business. Just remember Dr hook towing you aren’t taking your money with you.

This towing company is known as a predatory tower. They conduct satellite sweeps and most likely pay businesses and plazas to be called for illegally parked cars. I’m our case, our vehicle was parked in public parking, but parked in a plaza. We were on the premises for less than 30-40 minutes, in California, it is stated that it in order for a tow truck to be called, the vehicle has to be illegally parked for upwards of an hour. We also payed the 450$ fee to get our car back. In California, if the drive from the tow spot to the tow lot is 10 miles, then the price will be 160$. For every additional mile, it will add an additional 4 dollars. Our vehicle was parked 10-15 miles away from the tow lot, but we still payed 450$ instead of what would be 200$ at most.

Absolute scam if a company that wants nothing more than to steal your money. Over price the fees and will keep you there unless you pay their overpriced fees. I one of the worst places in California.
