TLDR: Misdiagnosed check engine light issue first time I brought the car in and charged $1000 for the most expensive repair. Check engine light comes back on after 1 day. Brought the car back and he claims he changes a different part. Check engine light comes back on after two weeks. Contact David about issue and he refuses to resolve it. Bring the car to another mechanic and he says I need to change the part which David claims he already changed (he clearly didn’t, look at the picture and you can tell this is an old part). At the end of the day I spent $1000 just to have my time wasted, be ignored, and issue not even resolved. SCAM I never want to leave a bad review for a small business but I am so disappointed in my experience with Elite Automotive Care. I was fooled by the great reviews on Google and Yelp and want to warn others about this shop. I brought my car in to have my check engine light diagnosed. About an hour after dropping off I received a call from David stating that he ruled out all possible issues and that it was a problem with the high pressure fuel pump (the most expensive solution). He quoted me nearly $1000. Due to the high price and the fact that he diagnosed the issue so quickly, I wanted to make sure he was replacing the correct part. I asked him multiple times about a few other potential issues and he said that it wasn’t any of those and that the fuel pump would resolve it. I allowed him to proceed with the repair as he sounded confident that he was going to resolve the issue. I picked up the car the next morning and drove it home. The next time I got into the car and started it back up, the check engine light was already back. Not even half a day after leaving the shop I was back at square one and this time $1000 out. I let David know about the issue and he told me to bring the car back to the shop. He then claims he changed the purge valve. I took the car back and went on vacation for 2 weeks. When I got back home the check engine light came back on for the same code. I brought it to a different mechanic because I was tired of David playing the guessing game. The new mechanic say that the purge valve needs to be changed. I was confused because David said that he changed that part already. As you can see from the picture, the part is clearly old and scratched up. So either Elite Automotive Repair never changed the part, or gave me an old faulty part. I reached out to David and asked him if he ever even changed the purge valve and he says he did which he clearly didn’t or used an old faulty part. I asked for a $200-300 refund so I can have the car repaired elsewhere and he declined (this is more than fair, I was willing to let him keep $7-800 for something he didn’t fix)So at the end, I spent $1000 at Elite Automotive Repair just to have my problem misdiagnosed multiple times and not even be fixed at the end. Do not go here if you want a reliable mechanic who you can trust to fix your car with honesty and integrity.

My car started acting weird all these warning lights popping up, having trouble starting, etc. Called a bunch of places but since it’s the week before Christmas nobody could see me until I called Elite. David told me to bring it over right away and had it fixed in an hour! ( was my battery) at a very reasonable price. I will continue to use them thanks to the great service I received today. David is a man that lets his actions speak for themselves, his shop is clean, his people are professional, doesn’t waste time and doesn’t make promises he can’t keep, and on top of all that their price is fair. First time customer here and I’m very happy with their work, will definitely be coming back for future service, if you want a reliable mechanic who you can trust to get the job done, choose this shop!

Horrible experience. Went to David to get my car Fixed. Claims he fixed my car but the issue never went away. Continued to ignore me when i asked him to resolve it Would leave zero stars if I could, but google doesn’t let me. Straight up scammer.

We had a great experience with Elite Automotive Repair. We came to David yesterday for a water pump issue, and we didn't even get to tell him that, because David spot the issue as he was approaching our car, just by hearing the noise. He said "it's the water pump" to my husband when he was 6 feet away from our car! The rest was easy: he took a closer look to confirm the issue then quoted us a reasonable price; we dropped off the car and came back the next day to pick it up. We wanted to thank David for his service; and we wanted to thank every reviewer below. We didn't miss a great mechanic because of your review. THANK YOU!
