This place is great. I moved to lindenhurst a few years ago and didn't have a local mechanic shop. I needed an alignment on my 4runner after doing a lift kit. Well, after going to 2 other places and it not being done right. I found this place and have to see I couldn't be happier. I was 2 weeks away from a 5000 mile road trip including some off roading. It road amazing both on and off road

44 years ago, when Dominic was about 18 years old, my mom's car broke down in front of his shop. He rescued her then and charged a fair price, and he's been doing it ever since. He's done extensive work on our family's cars, including big jobs, like full engine replacement, and there's never been an issue. Anything minor, they always make right. John has been working with Dominic for a long time. They are exceptional mechanics and good people.

I haven’t had a problem with this shop until recently this month. I brought my car here to be FIXED. They insisted valve adjustment my car only has 61/62k miles on it …. . I got my car back the first time and it was knocking very loud because it wasn’t adjusted correctly . Brought it back a second time got my car back the next day , the adjustment still wasn’t correct and knocking . Ended up having to get a rental because of the amount of times I had to bring the car back . Brought it back a third time, it seems to be adjusted fairly rather than before where it was knocking. The third time I got my car back my front bumper had white marks and some paint missing clearly someone had hit my front bumper which I do have pictures of before and after (was not compensated for my car being damaged ). It had now been well over a week and my car has the same problems it had before I brought it . Check engine bright as day , and the car doesn’t want to start after the engine is warmed up. Everything they did to try and fix it was mostly “guesses” where I’d just be spending money not knowing if the problem is fixed until check engine comes on once again . The codes I have are all misfires. Mind you I have already paid them and I still have the exact same problems I had before they even touched anything . I called today again .and received some attitude from one employee , I’m sure they have rough days and don’t want to answer too many questions because they’re busy, but I paid for a service and my car is exactly the same as it was before I spent another nearly $800 . Now I need to bring my car to the dealer to see what the problem is exactly which I should’ve done in the first place. It has been such a headache trying to deal with this shop. I went in last week on Friday march 29 2024 because the check engine was still there, they didn’t know what the problem was (tried to throw coils at me that I would again have to pay for but it was not the problem . )so I was told to leave the shop and I’d get a call which I never received so I had to call them the last few days , still not one answer or suggestion to why my car still has check engine . All in all, it’s just been a bad experience with this shop. So I will be going to a dealer where I’m going to be forced once again to leave the car so they can figure out the actual problem and spend more money once again . I don’t usually post reviews because people mess up sometimes and I’ve had work done by them before , but I’m not getting the help I need after I already paid an arm and leg , they don’t call back as they tell me they will and I have to ride around with check engine not knowing the exact problem , and not knowing how bad it can be to my engine or transmission… if you do come here just make sure you come with minimal problems , other wise it will just be guesses and money thrown away. I will post another review if they ever decide to compensate for the damaged bumper or come up with a solution to fix my car but at this point I doubt I will get anything . I will say this ,they did my alignment pretty good but Other then that i am completely unsatisfied with the rest of my experience here . More money to waste hopefully the next shop that touches my car figures out the problem. Thanks for reading

Hands down, Rich is the best mechanic I have ever had work on my car. 10/10 would recommend this shop to anyone who needs work done. Honest mechanics, good work.
