I had an incredible experience at Expert Auto Care. Christian, the owner, is truly one of a kind – honest, kind, and exceptionally generous. I went in with a couple of issues, and not only did he solve them, but he also refused to charge me, saying it didn’t take his staff much time. On top of that, he even took care of a large stain left by another provider’s windshield replacement service. It’s rare to meet such a genuinely caring and thoughtful person in the auto industry. I couldn’t be happier and will definitely be a loyal customer from here on out. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and friendly auto shop, Expert Auto Care is the place to go! I’ll be recommending it to all my friends!

Christian and his team worked on my first car (a 25 year old pickup) when he was at MPG Auto and my second car (a first-gen hybrid) here at Expert Auto Care. They've been consistently kind, honest, thoughtful, and treated both of my very-used cars like they were top-of-the-line Rolls Royces. At MPG, Christian went above and beyond to find me a replacement engine for my truck, and ended up charging me *less* than his initial quote. I've luckily only had minor issues with my current car, but Christian took the time to explain exactly what was wrong and got my car back to me within 3 hours of dropping it off. I can't recommend Expert Auto Care highly enough. All the positive ratings and comments on here are completely justified!

My 2012 Honda Pilot needed a new knock sensor, as diagnosed by my OBD sensor, so based on excellent Yelp reviews, I contacted Christian, the owner of Expert Auto Care in Mountain View. What impressed me the most were Christian’s deep knowledge and comprehensive explanation of the issue, as well as what needed to be done, a firm price estimate, and same-day turnaround. Everything was done according to the expectations that he set, and he kept me well updated. He even gave me recommendations about how to prevent the problem in the future. All-around excellent customer service. Bravo!

Best auto mechanic ever! Christian is exceptionally honest, trustworthy, reliable, and knowledgeable. He explains things clearly without talking down to me, and takes the time needed to ensure that I understand everything and get all my questions answered, without rushing me or pressuring me into purchasing anything. More than once he's taken a look at my car on short notice, without even charging me for his time, and has also given me cost-savings tips on things like new tires. Christian is a genuinely good person who treats everyone with respect, which I appreciate especially as a woman. I know that he won't pull anything shady or sexist like trying to upsell me on pointless services or overcharge me just because of my gender. I always fact check any advice a mechanic gives me with the car experts in my family, and Christian has never steered me wrong. I trust him so much that I still take my car to him after having moved 25 minutes away last year, and the extra driving time is totally worth it. If you make him your go-to mechanic, your car will always be in safe hands.

This is THE BEST mechanic I’ve ever been to. He explains everything, calm and patient, and although probably has explained this 100 times takes the time to talk it through with you, he rechecked a car we had after a light turned back on and talked through everything again, quick turn around, good price, I can see why he is 5/5 on stars
