Falcon Tire & Towing

$360 to tow my motorcycle down the road 5 minutes to their yard and keep it impounded for one night. My bike was in there for less than 24 hours and they charged me for two days because "midnight passed." The guy working there was a nice guy at least.

Did I use this business? Yes, but only because I wasn't given a choice in the matter. The CHP called for the tow service after my oldest son was involved in a very serious car accident on the night of April 4, 2021. The car was totalled in the accident and my son is lucky to be alive today. However, not even 24 hours after the accident I had already made contact with this business volunteering my name and my phone number. I came into contact with the woman who runs this business on Monday 4/5/21 and asked to see the car. I went to see my car and told her I would be in contact about the insurance and the status of the car and keep in contact. The following day I received the "lien" paperwork in the mail requiring my payment be made asap ($244 for the tow and $180 in storage fees as of the date it was mailed which was said to be $180) or they would sell my vehicle. I had already made contact with Falcon and was NEVER informed of my right of having up to three days of storage on the vehicle per California law and was being fully transparent with this business and yet they still put a lien on my vehicle? We picked up the vehicle on Friday, April 9, 2021 and were charged $70 for the lien package; that definitely WAS NOT REQUIRED! And I was charged $60 a day for storage of said vehicle even though it had only been 5 days! It clearly states on my receipt "Storage from 4/4/21 - 4/9/21" but that I was charged $60 a day = $360? These people are rude, inconsiderate, and disrespectful! They will overcharge you and never look back. I ended up signing the pink slip over to the rude woman that runs the place and asked her if she would be willing to take the $100 off of the amount we owed her for the money they would get for selling the car to the wrecking yard. She flatly told me no and nearly refused to let us see our car one last time until I insisted on seeing it. She never volunteered any of our possessions out of the vehicle, NOTHING! BEWARE THIS PLACE IS A RIPOFF AND WILL TAKE YOU FOR EVERY DOLLAR YOU HAVE! TOTAL PAYMENT TO FALCOLN TODAY $674.00 FOR ONE TOW AND 5 DAYS OF STORAGE! SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING A SMALL CLAIMS COURT CLAIM.

Bought some tires here and had them mount them. They dented several of the trucks center caps and then refused to replace them. What a joke. Avoid this place at all cost!
