Firestone Complete Auto Care

I purchased 4 new tires from this location during Black Friday in November 2024. I live in Aurora,Illinois. I had a flat in Hillside,Illinois.Roadside assistance changed the flat and put the spare on. I drove to the Hillside Firestone. I had to purchase a new tire for$53 with the warranty that I previously purchased. Hillside Firestone forgot to put my spare back under my car. I didn’t realize the spare was in my trunk till I got home. I took my car to the Aurora location, which is 5 minutes from my home. I told them what occurred and asked if they would put the spare back under my suv. The technician stated he would have to charge me $10 to do it. The Hillside Firestone stated they would do it for free! Again I bought the set of tires from the Aurora Firestone location. I’ve done plenty of business at this location over the past 7 years. Just on principle I will not go to that location anymore.

I was HIGHLY impressed with this place when I was there the other day. The new GM (I think his name is Josh, or something like that) is really awesome and easy to talk to. He's great at explaining things in a way that I understood, and I could tell that he and his team really took the time to make sure the job got done right! I had been going to a "fancy" place for my oil changes, and Josh was able to show me that they had been doing something that caused the plug on my oil thing to become basically un-usable. Even though they had to order the part, I didn't notice an unusually long wait time AT ALL! Another thing I noticed and appreciated was that they kept the remote for the waiting room TV on the table in the waiting room so anyone could change the channel if they wanted to watch something different! I know its strange, but that made a huge impression on me! The crew members that I observed were all super friendly and knowledgable and even though the drive was a bit further than I am used to, I will definitely be going back there for anything I need in the future!

I would rate no star if possible, why would they tell a customer that a tire replacement would be done in less than 2:00 hrs if not possible? There was a reason why I asked prior to scheduling the appointment, now I have to miss work because car won’t be ready until tomorrow. First and last time I would be taking my cars servicing to any Firestone branch. What a disappointment.

Worst service. Last week I left my car for general service to verify before taking for vacation, they have checked and told suggestions like oil change, tire change. I left my car 3 days back for oil change and they told there was small oil leakage while I take my car back. I asked, during last inspection you have not informed oil leakage and how come sudden leakage. They have informed we could not noticed that time. Then I took my car to other service center and they identified the issue due to the oil change by Firestone has caused the oil leakage and showed the photo as well. I shared the same to Firestone and they did not agree with that. I have spent money again to fix the issue caused by Firestone from other service center. Very worst.

I scheduled an appointment at the other Firestone by the Fox valley mall. When I showed up and they said they canceled my appointment because they were too busy . They offered to get me in the next day on Monday . I was very upset because I couldn’t afford to miss work and needed my car fixed today (Sunday) . Luckily Ryan the store associate at this location which was only 7 minutes away saved the day .He was able to let me walk into this store without an appointment and take care of my car DESPITE being short staffed with only one mechanic working . His customer service was amazing. He helped me out with a smile on his face . Got me in and out in a timely manner . Applied a coupon without me having to ask or bring it up . I had a great experience here. I will absolutely be back for more business in the future due to this positive interaction I had with the staff member named Ryan !

Ryan, and Jim. These are the two people you should talk to if you want work done reliability and quickly. I've taken my car here twice, and both times they've made it good as new. I trust this shop with my work whole heartrdly because I know the guys here. Just like their work, they're awesome. Everyone here is amazing, and the best thing I can say is that if you have any issues with your vehicle, bring it here and let them help you sort it out, be it them giving you advice, scheduling your maintenance, or making sure your car stays running, and drive out knowing your care is in skille and friendly hands. You guys rock! I'll be back if anything else goes wrong, but with all the work that just got done, I'll try not to damage anything. Haha.

My upper radiator hose apparently failed spraying my serpentine belt. Cost to fix was over $500. I just had my radiator replaced at this location less than a month ago for over $1400. And they didn’t notice a bad upper radiator hose then? Or perhaps that’s when is was damaged. I’m just disappointed by the initial work. And over $500 for a $50 belt and a $40 radiator hose is ridiculous. Update: They did offer a full refund after I voiced my dissatisfaction.
