Five Star Automotive Inc.

I have been going to Dave at Five Star since I moved to California two years ago. He has always been honest, reasonably priced and quick to fix my car in a quality manner. I recently had a problem with the AC in my car so I brought it to Dave and left it there for repair. He took it in, diagnosed the problem and took a further step to check to see if there was an extended warranty for the AC issue since it would have been a costly repair. There was and he recommended I bring it to the dealership without even a charge to me. He could have easily just fixed the car without checking and I would not have known the difference. An honest and good repair shop is hard to come by. Dave and his team at Five Star Auto are keepers!

Dave is a truly master of his craft and an honest mechanic. He was patient and extremely thorough when diagnosing my truck and advising me on all the issues as well as the steps needed to get it running properly again. His communication was top tier, every step of the way. Dave went above and beyond to ensure everything was up to his standard of perfection when completing the repairs. My truck is running fantastic now. Thanks again Dave!

David and his team are amazing. I and my family have been going to him for over 30 years. They are quick and efficient, and the cost is always more than fair, often far less than you would pay anywhere else. I would not consider going anywhere else!

My family and I have been going to Dave's Five Star Automotive for over 20 years. This is because Dave is one of the most honest and kind people we know. He also happens to be a top rate mechanic and has never recommended anything our vehicles didn't need and is always trying to help us save money by giving us honest feedback about the current state of our cars and trucks. If Dave can't get it done he knows the best people in the industry to recommend you to. There is absolutely no reason you should go anywhere else first whether it's an oil change, brake change, or engine work, Dave is the best guy for the job. Hands down.
