G & J Auto Repair Shop

My husband and I just moved back to Long Beach from Oakland and we have been looking for a reliable and trustworthy auto shop. G & J is down the street from us and I am so glad I stopped by! I needed my brakes replaced and Jorge Luis was not only knowledgeable with answering all of my questions, but he was professional and helped me decide what was best for my car. Their prices are absolutely fair, and my car has been running smoothly since I got it serviced. He even topped off my oil! Luis was able to service my car earlier than expected and he was done at the exact time that he quoted, which is so rare anywhere else. Their website is user-friendly and it was easy to make an appointment and get in contact with them. As a woman, I always get nervous going to auto shops by myself but I felt comfortable and respected at G & J. Jorge went above and beyond to ensure the best service, and I will definitely come back again. Bonus points: The invoice/receipt that I received listed out everything, down to the itemized services. I've been to other shops where things were handwritten down, where it felt shady, but I appreciate how thorough they are here. Thanks again!

I highly recommend G & J Auto Repair. The staff are friendly, honest, and upfront about costs without pushing unnecessary services. George is very skilled, and he delivers quality work—my car was fixed on time and runs like new. He even followed up later to check everything was okay. It’s rare to find a shop this trustworthy. If you want great service at a fair price, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely return for future repairs!

They were very helpful and my car is running smoothly after an oil change and tire rotation. I also got my brakes replaced not too long ago. They have extremely fair prices! I like how thorough they are with providing a list of recommendations along with pictures taken throughout the inspection. I appreciate that they don’t pressure you to buy anything that isn’t necessary.

I recently visited G & J Auto Repair Shop in Bellflower to have the alternator on my car replaced, and I was very pleased with the service I received. Luis and his team did a great job—everything was done correctly and in a timely manner, which made the experience stress-free. The repair went smoothly, and my car has been running perfectly since. It’s clear that they take pride in the quality of their work. The shop itself was also impressive. It was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable waiting area for customers. Although I didn’t use the waiting area because a friend picked me up, I appreciated how welcoming and organized everything was. The shop is conveniently located on the corner of Clark and Artesia, which made it easy to find. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and professional place to get your car repaired, I’d definitely recommend G & J Auto Repair Shop!
