I highly recommend Gus at this auto repair shop. I have been his customer since 2010 and am impressed with his honesty and professionalism. His work is done quickly, well and his prices are always fair. He is happy to help and after all of this time we feel like family. Today he pointed out to me that my registration had expired and told me that I needed to print out a temporary one. This is one example of the many ways that he has looked out for me. You'll be happy with him.

I've been going to G & J for inspection services for about 10 years. They are professional and quick and ethical. Never have they suggested unnecessary repairs or replacement of anything in order to complete the inspection like some of the chains ( I'm talking about you Pep Boys). Repair services are same... Whenever possible, they look up parts and estimate costs on the spot before you leave your car. They are on time with completing repairs. The owner suggested cost saving alternatives etc when our old car was having electrical issues.

I brought my car here because the fuel pump assembly burst a fuel line. Mechanic said I needed a new EKP (control unit). They charged me about $400 for “programming” after I told them not to do the programming. Well my engine has been running a little rough. When I scanned the EKP I was surprised to find that the VIN wasn’t set correctly; it appears to have been a VIN for a different car. This raises two questions: did these guys actually do the $400 programming and did they give me a used EKP?

Great place for emissions / car inspections. Friendly service, would suggest you go early in the morning DURING the week to avoid extra street traffic.
