My mom managed to get her car stuck on a rock. We needed a tow to lift and push the car. I called Gemma's and they were there in 20 minutes and charged a very reasonable fee. Really appreciate how quickly they got there and how easily everything was resolved.

This is a 2-pt review. Yesterday evening my car started shaking violently … the dashboard malfunctioned … and my car stopped driving. I had to have my vehicle towed but I just moved to the area and didn’t know where to bring it or who would be available to service it first thing Saturday morning without an appointment. The options my insurance provided didnt seem reputable but Joe from Gemma’s showed up with a tow. He called when he was en route, showed up 15 minutes early and was so courteous and professional, not just hurrying to hitch the car and go (although he did so expertly and safely) but taking the time to inquire about the issue and our selected service destination (both in terms of overnight parking AND access to timely service). He offered to bring the vehicle to his family shop - no hassle with updating paperwork or unnecessary extra travel on my part - for servicing on Saturday. By the time I arrived at the shop this morning (a little after 8am), the team had already run a diagnostic, told me what I needed, how much it cost and how long it would take. In under 2 hours they called me with an update that the issue (cylinder ignition coil shorted out) was resolved and I was back on the road, problem solved for only $300 and with guaranteed parts. The only thing I would critique is that no one contacted me to confirm drop off at the shop or that they had run a diagnostic and identified the problem. Super minor in the larger scheme of things. Happy to say Im going to make Gemma’s my permanent mechanic.

Gemma’s is has always been a pillar in the community I’ve been here 16 years and always bring my bicycles for air & the mechanics are always polite. My car broke down & Gemmas was 1st on my mind. They provided great service & my car was back to me within 24 hours. Thank you Gemma

I drove 3 hours from Pennsylvania to uniondale to spend the weekend with my family and as soon as I got to my family's house I got some car trouble! So I took my vehicle to gemmas and WOW what an amazing experience. In and out within an hour !!!! It was a real pleasure dealing with Joe and his crew very honest and knowledgeable guys i wish there were more people in this world like gemmas !

Both exceptional and efficient service. I called a day in advance with an AC issue and spoke to someone and was able to bring in my car the next day. When I came in the next day, I dropped my car off and within 4 hours had my car back. They called to explain what the issue was, how they solved it and how I should address it should it ever come back. In addition to giving me the itemized breakdown prior to retrieving my car. I appreciate this so I know how much the costs are prior to arriving. Father and son business, I found through my AAA membership. Discount was honored and explained. I would start transitioning all my car needs here.
