George's Body Shop

I brought over more than 5 of my cars to be repaired at this shop and they always blow me away with their quality of work. Wither its engine work or a new paint job it always comes out perfect. Im not sure why some of the previous people gave the location a bad review they were happy to help me and seem very knowledgeable on all my car issues and completed all the repairs I needed, I never had issues since on any of my cars since. They always work with my budget. I had a Ford edge 2014 that needed a complete paint job and it was an expensive pearl color and they worked a great price for me and it turned out great. Yesterday while traveling home from the upper peninsula our car overheated. We called AAA and they connected us with Georges Body Shop. What could have been a bad day turned into such a positive experience! We were out in the middle of nowhere and the owner Lance personally drove out and brought us back to St. Ignas. He assured us that his mechanics would take care of us. Lance ordered a part to replace the water pump that burst and told us it that the part would come in the following morning. His staff was friendly and to my surprise the bathroom was clean unlike most automotive shops. Lance personally drove us to our hotel and the following morning his son picked us up from our hotel and our car was repaired and ready just as promised. Lance shared that his company is family owned and has been in business for 3 generations. We met his son and he was equally as friendly and they treated us like we were family! We felt that their pricing was fair! If you should ever need a trustworthy, professional, and friendly company to repair your car, I doubt you will find a better place than Georges Auto Shop. Do bring your vehicle to this shop I had my vehicle here for three week they put a damage bumper back on my vehicle and charged me for a new one. This company is a rip of and don't trust them. Its a young boy in there that's doing the work and he have no knowledge about a car. I don't believe he have licenses to fix vehicle save your money and go somewhere else. Bad shop

Horrible! Don't ever buy a car from here brought a Buick rendezvous within first day speedometer went out now within a week car is shifting hard jerking when accelerating and transmission has been quoted to soon go out brung truck up there they looked at it and nothing was done! Owner keeps saying nothing was wrong with truck when u can only tell something is wrong from consistently driving it now I'm stuck with a car they rushed me into buying claiming it was a lot of offers! Speedometer was broken before car was purchased and they failed to change it until it went out on me! This business is family owned and they scam ppl they make it seem like there honest and trust worthy when there clearly not I should have known the car was a lemon when they didn't want to offer me a warranty! Don't buy from here or u will regret it. Smh

Great shop! Broke a serpentine belt and James had it fixed in less than an hour and for a price that couldn't be beat! I recommend any and everyone consider this shop first for their vehicle repairs!
