My car came out of this body shop BRAND NEW! It was washed and well taken care of (better than what I normally do lol) and the bumper was fixed and looked amazing! They were even able to start my car early and had it done at the mentioned time they said it would be. I love how my car looks now! Thanks, Gerber!!

Picked up my GMC Terrain today, so happy to get my suv back. They fixed it in no time. I got it several days back before the estimated date. They were great with keeping us updated with the whole process. Thank you for the great fast service. You all rock.

Do not take your vehicle to Gerber collision! If your car is there I’d advise you go pick it up and take it elsewhere asap! My vehicle was at Gerber collision over two months and they never called me once and gave me a status update. Not one single update. I called them every single time we had an interaction. I had to drive up there over a month after them having my vehicle just to get told they were waiting on a tire and it came yesterday. A week goes by Guy on the phone told me I needed a new rim as well because it was damaged. But they spoke nothing of a rim or waiting on a rim when I came in person. I had some scrapes on my back panel by the tire that popped That was already painted over. It was there when I got the vehicle. But Gerber added it into my estimate to get more money outta my insurance. You mean to tell me a body shop couldn’t look at the scrapes and see it’s already painted over and had nothing to do with what happened? I told some guy from Gerber over the phone this and he said well the insurance company is going to pay for it so you might as well get it fixed. I’m supposed to just let you guys fix it so you get the money and my insurance goes up?? Shady business they got going on over there. I went up there and talked to Rick and he was always very short with me and was a smart Alec. My estimate had 81 lines of repairs and 10k worth of damage base off their frivolous estimate. This put my vehicle up for total loss. I talked to Rick and he said oh I can see some stuff wrong with this estimate telling me to ignore this and that. And he could write up a new one. 2 months go by and All that was did at Gerber for me was a rim and a tire. And no new estimate. And guess what they ordered and put the wrong tire on it. You can clearly see why I wanted to get my vehicle as far away from Gerber as possible. I scheduled for a tow with my insurance company and they worked everything out and had a scheduled time for when the tow truck guy would be at Gerber. So I went and parked at Gerber at the schedule time so I could be there when the tow truck shows up. I sat outside for an hour waiting on a tow truck that never arrived. I called the tow truck guy and he said we were going to come and get it but Gerber isn’t releasing it due to non payment from my insurance company. Mind you I have the receipt in my phone text and Email stating Gerber was payed and my car was good to get picked up. They could of relayed this information to me but they did not. I exited my vehicle and walked inside with this information and I spoke to Rick again and he said he hadn’t received anything anything at all and had no knowledge of anything. It wasn’t until I pulled up my receipt and showed him it was paid that he released my vehicle. Literally one minute after saying he knew nothing. Not to mention he walked outside while I had been sitting there and definitely seen me because I seen him and said nothing to me. I just waited and waited. he was two cars over with one of the mechanics from Gerber and they were looking at another vehicles damage. Guess they thought it was funny I was just sitting there waiting on my car to get picked up and it wasn’t. Then he tried to say oh well they paid the wrong amount that’s why it wasn’t released. I was never rude over the phone. I was never rude in person. I didn’t get loud or smart with anyone and I wasn’t demanding and my vehicle just sat there for two months. After all this they charged my insurance for every single day my vehicle sat there just because ultimately I took it elsewhere for repairs. What a shame. My car was eventually taken to Dingmans collision and my car is fixed and back on the road for $3,474 from 10k estimate that Gerber was trying to rip me off for to $3,474 total cost my insurance paid $2,974 in less than a month and I’m back in my vehicle for not even half the price of what Gerber was trying to get outta my insurance. And that was just an estimate you know it was going to be more. This is my experience with Gerber and I would never go back to them ever again.

My car was brought in September 2nd for Hail damage repair, I was told a month of repair at most. I called September 11th to ask for any update as I heard nothing since dropping it. They told me they were still waiting for approval from the insurance company and would call back in 5-10 minutes after they called them. On September 13th, I still had not received a call back and decided to just call my insurance company. The body shop manager told my insurance estimator that he never received the estimate from the insurance company so they couldn’t move forward without that. I think that's ironic because they could have called me for that and the fact that I dropped the estimate off with the car. They also told my insurance estimator that the car would be started Monday, September 16, and it would take 10-15 days after that, so it should’ve been done by September 27th or October 4th. After not receiving any information about the car, I called again on September 20th and was told they hadn’t begun work and that they apologized for the poor communication and it would get better, only it never did. The first week of October I received a call from them saying they just ordered parts and it would be 10-15 days till my car was done. Flash forward to November 6th my car is finally done and I am so glad I never have to deal with this corrupt company again. The paint job has black dots in it and there are scratches on the hood. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. They are terrible with communication, starting the job on time, and promising 10-15 days almost every Friday for the past 65 days. They state they are a geico preferred company but geico should never recommend this company to anyone. Please don’t waste your time or money here. They are full of fake promises and do not value customer service.

It took over a week for a $3,500 estimate. They had my Wrangler for 2-3 weeks after payment was issued from Progressive without repair. I was told twice it they were going to get working on it. I finally picked it up without repair and now have to deal with Gerber corporate to get my money back. I had to call every time to check on the status. They did not update me once.
