My son and I were driving from Phoenix to Northern California where he is in college. 200 miles from his school his Jetta stopped accelerating and the warning lights went nuts. We limped into German auto. And they were lifesavers. They made time to help us and called to order a part that may be necessary just in case. They fixed us up and we were back on the road in hours. My son will be on time for his midterm and I will make my flight back home. Cannot overstate how kind, patient, and helpful they were. And the price for the fix was reasonable with no extra for the rush. Great guys for sure!

Quality work at reasonable prices. Fantastic customer service and quick turnaround times. If I ever need work done on my clapped e92 BMW that I don't feel like doing myself, I'll definitely be returning to German Auto!

These guys are real nice guys btw. One time they were able to install the simple 9 pin wiring on my boat trailer on very short notice. Talk to Gary! They also really Like 944 turbos and sprinter vans

These guys tried to scam me by quoting a $4k job for something my car did NOT need. Said my clutch was about to go and quoted a flywheel change too in addition to plethora of other problems. 5k miles later, I have shown 2 other mechanics, who have said nothing is wrong with my car. They tried to take advantage of my age. As a college student, do not come here. EDIT since the owner thinks they're smart and can weasel their way out of this one. I chose this shop purely because they had such good reviews. I do own a Porsche and the quoted price was not the issue. In fact, 3.8k to repair a clutch and flywheel is very reasonable. This business tried to misdiagnose the car and in fact, took MONEY from me to misdiagnose those issues. They stated things such as shifter linkages that were about to go, and about $2k in additional repairs that were independent of the issue I came to them for. In the end, they made me very scared to drive my own car, which is just sad because THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CAR AT ALL. They probably thought I was young and dumb, thus trying to scam me.

Very helpful for my son’s car who is in school 1000 miles away from home and our usual shop. Knowledgeable, competent and I think very honest in terms of recommending what was needed and not needed.
