Once again, Gil’s came through for me in a crunch. I will use no other service, trusting them implicitly for any future work. I’ve been around the block over twenty times, so when I find someone competent and professional I stick with them. Kudos to Matt for exceptional communication and empathy.

I recently had an outstanding experience at Gil's Automotive in Burnt Hills, NY, and I can't recommend them highly enough! From the moment I walked in, the team made me feel right at home. Their customer service is truly exceptional; they treat you like family and go above and beyond to ensure you feel valued. The expertise and knowledge of motor vehicles displayed by the staff are impressive. They took the time to explain the issues with my car in a way that was easy to understand, and their recommendations were spot on. I felt confident that my vehicle was in capable hands. What stood out to me was their fair and competitive pricing. I’ve been to other shops where I felt overcharged or pressured into unnecessary services, but at Gil’s, I found their prices to be reasonable and transparent. Overall, if you're looking for a reliable automotive service that combines expertise with a personal touch, look no further than Gil's Automotive. It was good. Gil’s is a busy place. During a prior visit, my F150 had new tire pressure sensor monitors installed. Gil’s rep said the new monitors would not cost $80 per monitor (that’s what Ford charges). Instead Gil’s charges $60 per monitor for a part that’s common in so many Fords and other vehicle brands that it’s about $8 per monitor online! Gil’s needs a new parts supplier? To make things worse, it wasn’t my tire monitors. It was the battery. The nine-year old battery started the truck just fine, but lacked sufficient charge to maintain a connection with the tire monitors, the parking brake sensor and run the auto stop/start function. As many reliable blogs suggest, when any vehicle from the last decade or so is throwing so many ‘faults’ or warning messages simultaneously (particularly when the auto stop/start stops functioning) check the battery before addressing the warning messages. It will save your customers lots of money in unnecessary diagnostics and repairs. I replaced my battery after that tire monitor repair visit and the parking brake warning stopped and the auto stop/start function is now operating properly. Other than that miss, Gil’s does a great job maintaining our 2015 F150, an older 911, and our RAV4. ****In Gil’s response to my review, they indicate that they solved my problem… a weak battery. In their rush to replace my tire pressure monitors, they overlooked by battery issues. I solved the problem that Gil’s overlooked!****

The service at Gil's Garage was exceptional. Everyone with whom I dealt was friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Gil's to family and friends. I am very happy that Rensselaer Honda referred me to Gil's for the repairs to my car. Thanks to Gil's I get to keep driving my car which I love. My sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at Gil's.

First time customer here and was extremely impressed with the entire experience. Had an issue with the alignment on my vehicle due to a rusted/seized bolt. Called Gil's and they took down my information for an appointment the following week. Dropped the car off in the AM, spoke with the advisor and he very thoroughly explained what they would do, what options it could end up being, and let me know they would contact me once they had it sorted out . Car was back to me around 5:30 that day and was charged reasonably for the services performed. So glad I ended up giving them a call because I know if I went to the dealer with this, they would have recommended I fix this issue by replacing other parts, to the tune of ten-fold what I paid with Gil's. I've lived in the area for 30 years and had always heard Gil's mentioned for quality auto-repair, it just blanked my mind until I was driving by the other day. Don't hesitate to contact them!

Gil’s garage does very good work and only perform what is needed to get the car safely on the road. Personal are very courteous and trustworthy. I recommend Gil’s garage to any one who needs to repair his or her car. They are honest and consult you every step of the way for what is needed

absolutely impeccable business! I adore the people here and they are very attentive to your needs, cans, and wants. I've had to pace out my repairs for my car due to personal finances, but they're always there for you when you need them, as well as happy to explain certain procedures and what to expect afterwards; what's normal, what's not. just this morning, I realized they fixed my convertible top for me! normally this is something I'd consider going to a dealership for, but they do just as good if not better than one! this honestly brightened my day, thank you guys immensely for doing that for me. pricing is very fair, very deserving of the high quality work they perform, and I trust them highly. Gil’s is the absolute best. I have an off warranty BMW and it is always handled with white glove care! They never do unnecessary services and Matt is always so kind and pleasant to speak to. I highly recommend!!
