GNG Auto Service

I brought my Subaru in to have a Check Engine light diagnosed. The mechanic was very thorough with their inspection, tracked down the issue and fixed the problem. They also noted a few other things that need(ed) to be addressed. Not being from the area, I gambled with which shop to call and was very pleased that I chose GNG Auto Service. From when I called to make an appointment and throughout the time my vehicle was in their care, I was updated daily by Wes. If you're passing through Lake Havasu or live in town, I would highly recommend GNG!

I called GNG on the recommendation of a friend. He told me that they were very thorough and detail-oriented. I took my old Jeep Wrangler in for them to take a look at and resolve a number of issues. I was impressed with their attention to detail, their professionalism, and their friendliness. The majority of my auto repair experiences over the decades have been lacking in one or all of those categories. I did not detect the presence of snake oil, and I think I’ve got a pretty good nose for it. I listed off all of the things that I knew needed to be addressed, and Wes told me that they would do a thorough inspection and send photos. They did, and found some other things that needed to be fixed that I had not been aware of. My Jeep has over 200,000 miles on it, so I was not surprised by what was uncovered, and it all seemed completely reasonable. Their photographs and detailed explanations helped considerably. So I gave them the go-ahead on a rather expensive estimate total. Not unreasonable, but just a lot of money because it was a long list of things: Multiple oil leaks, transmission cooling line leak, new plugs and wires, coolant flush, oil and filter change, adjust parking brake, replace front pads and rotors, replace serpentine belt, brake fluid replacement, leaking differential seals, leaking rear axle seal, new license plate bracket, engine steam-cleaned, and maybe a couple of other things I’m forgetting. There was also the chance that once they started fixing things (specifically the multiple fluid leaks) that the repair cost would increase significantly depending on where the leaks were coming from. Fortunately that didn’t happen. I was grateful that Wes had prepared me for that possibility in advance. I got my Jeep back and there are no more oil leaks. Such a nice feeling being able to park it and not put a cookie sheet under the oil pan to catch the drips. Numerous other neglected maintenance issues have been taken care of. It runs great and feels more responsive to throttle input. The stereo even sounds much clearer now! (I’m just kidding about that last part.) But seriously, it feels fantastic to have somebody thoroughly inspect my Jeep and point out issues from the perspective of an experienced professional and tell me what needed to be done to keep it running. I felt like they found everything that needed to be fixed and nothing more. The total was true to their estimate, as well as the amount of time that they told me it would take to complete. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my vehicles to them in the future or to recommend them to my friends and family. In Havasu when you find a business that is good, you stick with them and spread the word.

Called Wes and asked if they worked on European cars. They indeed do and was confidant to fix the issue. He got me in the next day and had diagnosed and fixed the issue within 24 hours. Quality work and Wes was great to work with. Very professional.

Great service. They go through everything on your vehicle during inspection. Very nice for people who pick and choose what they do on their own vehicle. Fairly priced and they pay attention to detail

This is the only place my parents will go to & being new to the area, I followed their lead. I just got my car serviced & I’m very happy with the work & their honesty. They don’t try to pressure you into anything, did a great job & got me in & out quick for not having an appt!

I was visiting the area and had a light come on with my Mercedes. I contacted GNG. I was surprised by their ability to get my car into their schedule very quickly. The were efficient and very communicative throughout the process. AND to top it off, they provided my uber ride both directions. I would use them again without hesitation.

Wes and Mike have been wonderful during my car experience. I’ve had terrible auto service /maintenance with places half assed it or trying to screw me over. When I went to G&G with my first car- they were honest with the diagnosis. I got a second car and they were able to assist with the maintenance needed with honesty, reliability, and ok prices. I appreciate every detail my car does in that location- they provide a web link for you to refer back + pictures!

Mike and the staff were great i went to the ford dealership to get my a/c control system looked at and they didn't know what was happening with it yet charged me for nothing! I took my car to GNG they found the issue fixed it the checked another issue with it. Even though I couldn't afford the part at this time they were able help me out. I know when I have the money to replace the part I will be taking it to GNG auto service to get fixed for sure.
