Not a good place to do business with. Needed battery tested and tech or whomever indicated they needed the car all day. You got to be kidding me. Five minutes to test battery, charging and starting on device. No customer support, was trying to avoid a breakdown. Luckily, another repair down the street tested on the spot. Hope that wasn't the owner at Bad Guys Auto, just losing business. Stupid stuff. Avoid, not recommending. Better repair shops in the area.

Overpriced, scamming, and unprofessional. Came here for an oil change and smog check, which ended up costing me $90?! It was a rip off but my bad for not confirming the price before leaving my car there. During the oil change they called to say that my coolant was in desperate need of a flush and that they could do it for $300. Ducking 馃 what? Who the heck charges $300 for a flush??? I respectfully declined. A month after all this, my check engine light kicks on. Frustrated, I pop open the hood of my car to see if there are any visible issues. Guess what? There are. My coolant cap was never placed back after this place's insistence that I needed a flush. My coolant reservoir is bone dry. I had to go to the store and pick up a bottle of coolant and refill it. Do not come here. It's a scam and if you refuse their recommended overpriced services, they'll sabotage your car to break down. Thank God my dad taught me the basics of taking care of my car and researching prices. I can't count how many mechanics have tried to take advantage of the "lone girl needs an oil change" situation.

Had a smog check completed here. Price was reasonable. No weird smog 'fix' fees or other shady business. Just straightforward service. Would come back for very minor service, but take my car elsewhere for more substantial work.

My car began to start very sluggishly. I found the paperwork for my Interstate Battery and realized I have a warranty on it. I checked the warranty website and the closest location to me was Good Guys Auto Care Center. I gave them a call, told them the problem and asked if they could see me. They said yes, they could check my battery and I told them I would be over in a few minutes. I arrived and the guy attempted to check my battery, but the printout said that the battery needed to be re-charged and retested. I presented my warranty paperwork and the receipt for the battery and asked where we should go from here. He got a bit agitated and told me that he would NOT honor the warranty because I hadn鈥檛 purchased the battery from him. He said that Interstate wouldn鈥檛 reimburse him because I didn鈥檛 buy from him. I didn鈥檛 want to argue, especially since we didn鈥檛 actually get a diagnostic on my battery. So I asked him if he could charge it and we could see what was wrong. He said that he would test a battery for free for anyone. But nothing more. So, I asked how long would it take (20-30 mins), what would it cost for him to charge and re-test. He told me that he wouldn鈥檛 do it now because he was going to take his lunch, and so was his co-worker who came up during our conversation. He said that he would do it if I came back at 2, and it wasn鈥檛 quite noon yet. I left, thankfully my car started, and called Interstate Batteries. The warranty is a nationwide warranty. He was absolutely supposed to honor the warranty, which in my circumstance is 45% of the part (that Interstate would have reimbursed him for), and I will be paying for 65% of the battery and all labor charges. But since he refused to even look at my paperwork, he didn鈥檛 know. I was put in touch with the local distributor for Interstate and they recommended another one of their warranty holders. He even checked to make sure the place he was sending me to had the battery in stock. Ultimately, Good Guys refused to honor a national warranty for a product they sell and wouldn鈥檛 even charge my battery when I offered to pay for it and was physically in their shop with no other customers. Not Good Guys!

I have been having my cars smog here for over 5 years and have never had any issues. They are professional and efficient and even let me know of any other defects. Example I did not know my brakes were ,low they didn't try to sell me anything just let me know.
