Good Vibes Garage

This place gets recommended a lot, and I'm not sure why. Took an F250 Super Duty in with a host of problems, approved repairs that did not get done, and was charged $500 for an oil change and diagnostic fees for a problem they had already admitted they could not solve. When I called about the bill, I was told that their first concern is safety and diagnosing all of the problems before making any repairs, but that clearly didn't stop them from changing the oil and collecting the fee for that. They are just like every other mechanic that will take advantage of a situation to extract as much money from you as possible with the minimum amount of effort. Avoid at all costs.

Traveling solo could be isolating. It becomes increasingly so when you start having mechanical problems in an unfamiliar place. This happened to me in Laramie. Immediately, I started looking for mechanics in the area that might be able to offer advice or help for my situation. Overnight temperatures were -35 and my diesel gelled, leaving me with a van unable to start, lest I wait until spring. I needed to move the van to a warm place overnight. When I found good vibes garage, I got well...Good vibes. After talking to them, I called a tow truck and had the van taken to them. They were so kind and friendly. It made me feel like I had friends, whose interest was in helping me get back on the road. That counts for a lot in my book. the next morning they got my van running again and now I'm leaving Laramie with some memories that almost made the breakdown worth it. If you are ever in Laramie passing through or you live here, give good vibes a call. 12/10 would recommend.

As a newcomer to Wyoming, finding a trustworthy auto shop was crucial. My girlfriend usually relies on her dad for vehicle service, so we were both searching for a place we could trust. From the moment we walked in, I knew this was the right spot. Setting up an appointment was easy, and when my girlfriend's car started smoking upon arrival, the mechanic immediately recognized the problem. He clearly knew her vehicle and identified the issue effortlessly. They fixed her car the same day, and also quickly identified the issue with my vehicle, saving me time and money. The staff at the front desk were knowledgeable and open to answering all of my girlfriend's questions. The cherry on top was their offer to pick me up and grab my vehicle. Every aspect of my experience at this shop was positive, and it truly lived up to its name, "Good Vibes." I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service they provided!

Usually my go-to shop, buuuuut Last time I was there, I was told that I would be given a ride to/from work on the day they were diagnosing my truck. Then after taking my truck and waiting the whole day, they told me they couldn't pick me up from work anymore—leaving me with very little time to find an alternative. It all ended up okay in the end, but I was very frustrated.

Tried to sell me a $600 valve cover gasket job before any diag, I needed a pcv valve. Came in for an alignment and ball joints, they said they couldn't get it to stay aligned, didn't mention my bent tie rod, and tried to charge me for rework after they messed up one of my axle seals. Don't even bother with is place, full of clowns
