Great Bear Auto Repair & Auto Body Shop

Had a wonderful time at the Women Auto Know workshop! I wanted to learn a little more about car basics in preparation for the winter months and brought my friend with me. Audra not only explained concepts very easily but also made it fun and interactive. After we talked through basic topics like changing engine filters, jump starting a battery, or what to look for in tire wear, we would apply those to props or point them out on our vehicles to practice what we just learned. It is so great of Audra to put on this free workshop to help educate the public on how to better troubleshoot issues and become an informed car owner. I left feeling more confident on how to talk about car maintenance when bringing my vehicle into the shop or what to look for when a warning light comes on. Would highly recommend this short, informational workshop to anyone who is looking to improve their car maintenance skills!

Had a pleasant experience here. Wanted to get an inspection but since my problem couldn’t be fixed at the time, they didn’t charge me for the inspection.

What a great way to spend my Saturday morning! I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn from Audra and (turbo) Gen alongside these lovely ladies. While I don’t plan on doing much automotive work myself, I now feel prepared to ask the right questions + have a sense of what needs to be worked on based on certain indicators. Would highly recommend this autobody shop + workshop for women that want to learn more.

Great Bear Auto is a great place to bring your vehicle for repairs or even for a simple oil change and inspection. Audra is the proprietor and she is very welcoming and always greets you with a smile . Everyone is very knowledgeable, even the front desk staff, and most importantly they are kind and will explain everything if you have any questions. Audra implemented “Women Auto Know” program to give women knowledge on why certain repairs need to be done. I gladly give a 5 star rating.

As someone who has zero interest in the mechanics of things, but brought a small group of girls to a Women Autoknow workshop because I felt I should, regardless, can I tell you? This was SUPER enjoyable and practical. Audra is fantastic at explaining things well and engaging people. She created a warm, fun learning environment on a freezing cold day. Highly recommend!
