This place is worth the drive. The previous Smog Check place failed my vehicle, even though on the print-out it passed everything. I came to H & V and the guy was straightforward with the prices, explain everything upfront. I was in and out promptly. No games here. My vehicle passed and no hassle like other smog check places in town. You can trust this place. I'll sure to come back for my other cars.

I owed nearly 2,000 dollars in repairs. I got the valve cover gasket, oil pan, oil pan gasket, radiator replaced & an oil change. When I went to pick my car, check engine light was on, my car was stuttering and stalling, even though my car was there for nearly 2 weeks. I needed to get the valve cover which was an additional $500, and costs were not upfront. The boss/owner, Rigo, personally sent me a video of him redlining my car while check engine and issues were happening. Overall customer service was very poor, super unprofessional, & as a girl very uncomfortable, at times employees would get very close in a uncomfortable way .

These guys are good. We are veteran non-profit called Warrior Built a few doors down and they help our Veterans all the time. Never a problem and just dang good mechanics.
