Hooked On Towing, LLC

I was very disappointed with Hooked on Towing. I called on a Wednesday afternoon and spoke to Robert asking him if I could set up a towing service for the following Monday from my residence to my nearest car dealership. Robert gladly took the call, appearing to take down my information, including my phone number, address, car make and model as well as the time of my dealership appointment. He then provided me with a price quote, which I thought was very high, but given the good reviews Hooked on Towing had, I was willing to pay the amount for good service. Five days later, on Monday morning, I called to double check that I am ready for my vehicle to be towed three hours from current time. The operator looked through her records and said there was no mention of my appointment and that no service was scheduled for me. I informed the operator that I had spoken to Robert and that he confirmed my appointment. To which the operator replied that Robert was indeed an employee of Hooked on Towing, but that he did not work on Mondays and should not have taken the appointment. Consequently, there is no service available at the time I need in order to make my dealership appointment. The only thing the operator offered was that Robert should not have made such an arrangement. The operator informed me that they can send a truck to my residence, but that I am not a priority so it could take anywhere from one hour to six or seven hours. Basically, whenever they can get to me, they'll get to me. While I understand mishap occurs, there seems to be a lack of training of employees based on this incident. If an employee were to accept a reservation, it should be in the system, regardless of whether or not an employee is working on the day of towing. Moreover, if there is an acknowledgement of fault on the business side, there should be a bit more effort to get the customer the service they need as opposed to offering "they'll get to you when they'll get to you".

Isidoro went above and beyond! We are so grateful. We've had some horrible experiences in the past with emergency tow services through AAA, so my anxiety was way up when I had to request a tow today. The first tow company updated their pickup time to 5 hours but Hooked On Towing took the call and came through in 1.5 hours! The lady handling dispatch was so pleasant too. Isidoro knows what he is doing, was very efficient, careful and super friendly even after a 2 hour drive to us then another 3 hour drive to the drop off location. Highly reccomend!!

Horrible experience. They have poor communication with the customer and refused my vehicle pickup without informing me. I was waiting for a response that I never got and instead had to call AAA again to request a tow service. As it turned out, they were dispatched from AAA again and once again he refused the pickup because the vehicle was not on the street. It was in the parking lot 10 feet away but refused to go in there to get the undriveable vehicle. They somehow wanted me to push it out so again they said the dispatcher was going to call me back and again, never did. So then I called AAA a third time for a tow request and they finally sent me a different tow truck that came and towed my vehicle with no issues. DONT USE THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE

My husband and I were stuck in Ontario on our anniversary date night with a flat tire. Kevin, from Hooked on Towing, was so nice and had great customer service. Thank you so much!
