I was to this place to recycle some batteries, mostly AA and AAA. Some of them had a note with a restriction (they should be recycled in a special places). The employee said “no”, that is an old instruction and now it can go to the regular trash, but if I need that service anyway, I have to pay per lb. It is not a problem to pay, and I paid $20+. Are they going to recycle?

We use interstate Battery for all our Battery needs for the company I work for. They are very quick to respond to emails. They are always extremely polite, helpful and honest. Our delivery guy is amazing! Always go through Interstate before ever going anywhere else. Never have any issues with them! I wish all vendors worked this well!!!

Make sure the battery you drop off to have checked is the same one they give you back. Dropped off one that was only 5 months old and clean gave me a little dirty and 1 year older battery

My battery was clearly almost dead, and reviews lead me here, and I'm glad it did. The guy that helped me didn't try to oversell anything, just told me my options and asked what kind of battery I had based on my car make/model year. I wasn't sure of the year, so we went out and looked, and he gave me my options again, along with some battery care tips about the corrosion that was already on my battery for the future. I was happy to pay a small fee to have him replace it on site, and he was happy to answer any questions I had while he was doing the replacement, along with some stories of the job. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Our Buick needed an odd battery; I called early in the morning and in less than two hours, they had it in stock. The installation went great- a tricky location stuffed in the corner of the engine compartment was no match for these guys. Five stars!!
