No words can adequately express how much I am thankful for the service provided by IPM. Car broke down between VA and MA and I needed to find a place to service my car. IPM took the car in right away and providing top notch service. They even made some very good recommendations as well to ensure the car was running in top shape. I truly cherish their honesty/integrity/dedication to the customer. If you live near Westport check this place out. Maybe everyone in Westport already knows how great they are.

Great owner, Excellent mechanics! I have only trusted these guys with my cars over the years. They pay attention to detail, yet they will never make unnecessary repairs. I once had a breakdown that was fuse related. Other repair shops might have had a field day "fixing" my car and charging me an arm and a leg for it, but Dave and the mechanics at IPM troubleshot the issue, figured the problem out, and didn't charge me a dime! They have serviced every Volvo I've ever owned since the late 80s and I've never been disappointed. It used to be an independent Volvo only place, but now all makes and models are repaired and serviced here. I highly recommend this shop!

I had a terrific experience with Dave at IPM. I had been smelling gasoline in the garage and brought my 2005 car to another repair shop that found nothing wrong. I was then referred to IPM by a friend. Dave not only found the leak in the gas tank, which he said was fairly obvious, but he was aware that the car manufacturer had extended the warranty because of a flaw in the gas tank that evidently had caused similar problems for others. I had no idea about the warranty extension and would never have imagined that a 2005 car would be covered for anything. Instead of repairing the car himself and charging me a lot of money, Dave urged me to drop everything and immediately make an appointment with the manufacturer's service department because the extension would be expiring soon. Dave was right about the extended warranty, and the tank was replaced by the manufacturer for no charge. Probably saved me thousands of dollars. The fact that Dave was willing to give me the right advice, even though it worked against his own financial interest, says a lot about his honesty and ethics. I went by his shop today to say thanks. Unlike most vendors, he didn't even ask me to write a review, but here it is because he's certainly earned it.

Excellent service. Has been in Westport for more than 20 years- maybe 30?. Highly professional, honest, responsive, and reasonable. I have used this shop numerous times, and feel very lucky to have access right here in Westport for my BMW repairs. Excellent resource for foreign car repair services. Highly recommend.
