The outward appearance of this shop does not reflect the great work done within! Reasonable and accommodating. I'd recommend it for everyone! Although I still need to get a bottle of his maple syrup I dropped a star because once the car was home, it's first use, the car wouldn't start. Yes, it's an older car but come on.. I never used it!

Jay found the issue in less than 15 minutes. A different shop said it would be a new power steering pump. But he replaced the hose that was the real issue and got it done asap!

J&B Automotive is like the service stations of my childhood: Jay is the owner/service tech you feel you can trust, to not only tell you accurately what is wrong with your ride, but also to do the job well without gouging you with unreasonable labor rates. He fills in his appointments on a spiral-bound notebook on which he scribed the day columns by hand, but he will always get your repair started on time, and give it his undivided attention until completed. There are few automotive problems he can't address, and if he can't, he'll tell you up front. It's an old 2-bay service station with lots of grease and history. He sells his own harvested Maple syrup there. And ask for one if his jellybeans, another special treat. Jay is a man you can trust your vehicle with, which to me is akin to the trust you need with a surgeon.

Excellent service; knowledgeable & friendly, explained what was wrong with my car, and got my car done way earlier than he expected. I will definitely go back in the future!
