Owner/Operator/Master Mechanic John is a former aerospace mechanic. Not only does he know how to turn a wrench, he also knows why. What is amazing about John is that not only does he know about Hondas, he combines his excellent knowledge about customer satisfaction, shop cleanliness & order as well as safety into his process. John is not happy if he has not done the job as good or better than anyone else. He has not told me this, rather it is evident in the work he has done for me multiple times on my Honda Civic. I will never visit another Honda dealer mechanic as long as John is in business. Even if your Honda just needs an oil change, take it to J&L Automotive. I originally brought my car to J&L because when I took my car to the dealer for an oil leak, they charged me for the repair (not cheap), but the car still leaked oil. (Bad news when you are having brand new pavers installed on your driveway!) I looked for a local expert, and J&L was the place. Not only did he fix the very difficult to fix leak, he was able to explain to me how the dealer's mechanic had improperly attempted the repair and did not even follow Honda's procedure. The repair was very difficult, and even though it took John longer than his estimated time, he honored his original bid. A true gentleman. I cannot make a higher recommendation for J&L Automotive. They are the best.

A friend recommended J & L Automotive to me after I complained about my Honda Dealership issues... and when I called and spoke to John about my problem, he was very accommodating. He told me to come by around 3pm that same day, and he'd take a look. I showed up on time and since it was an easy fix,- was on my way about 30 minutes later! But the best part? ...NO CHARGE.! :) I will definitely be back to give him my business, and will refer him to others also. Thanks John!

John is the real deal. I brought my 2010 Honda CRV in and he gave me a detailed diagnostic and price breakdown on what was needed. Showed me where the work was needed and was up front about costs and labor. He truly understands Honda engines and is trust-worthy to give it to you straight. I will be bringing my Honda back to him exclusively for all oil changes and services. Highly recommend his shop!

I had an ABS failure on my Accord, and every warning light on my dash lit up. John accurately diagnosed the problem and quickly repaired the defective modulator. After that was done, I asked him to replace the timing belt, as it was due and making noise. Again, he replaced the belt in record time. A few days after he had repaired my car, he messaged me to see how the car was running. Nobody else does this. John is a gentleman, an excellent mechanic and one of the most honest people I know. He's got my business for as long as I own Honda's. Highly recommended.
