Hector is an absolute customer service professional and an electrical wizard. My 6 year old sports car had a malfunction in the power seats that was a $2,000 job at the dealership. By word of mouth I mentioned this to a complete stranger at my child’s sports practice. They gave me Hectors number so I gave him a call and he told me to bring the car by early the next morning. He immediately took apart the seat and within 10 minutes he said he can order a part and fix it. So he received the part and said to leave the car for a few hours and he would have the seat moving and reclining again before lunch time. I returned in 3 hours and my car was repaired and he even went the extra mile and threw in some quality maintenance work on something else the car needed. Not only electrical but he actually serviced and checked the vehicle and improved the performance. All for exactly 1/4 of the price that the dealership quoted. Customer service has always been important to me. I found quality work and fair prices in dealing with a well seasoned auto mechanic in Palmdale named Hector. Going forward I will bring all of my cars to this great shop. It’s much faster than spending 5 hours in a waiting room at a dealership with 50 cars in line and is priced fairly for the hard working people in the AV. Quick, quality, and modest prices with this great mechanic.

The only reason why I went to Jay’s brakes and auto repair is because my mechanic what is out of town. I did not know what was wrong with my car so they put it to the monitor drove it around. The block came back and said it will be about $1800, something with the engine I politely said no thank you and came to get my car. They lost my key. I had an extra key so I came up and they still. Wanted to charge me for the diagnosis or to make a new key even though they lost my key. I said no thank you. And when I to the shop to get my car, they were not here. I had to wait one hour. After receiving my car from Jay’s brakes and auto repair my driver side door does not close properly, some of the pieces were missing to move the seat forward and backwards, and I finally took the car to my normal mechanic and it was a $300 job. There was nothing wrong with my engine. Absolutely nothing I feel that they were extremely unprofessional and either didn’t know what they were doing or just blatantly tried to rip me off. How are you prize everyone in Palmdale Lancaster, Little Rock Lake LA Mojave to find someone else to go to you will be better off shame on Jay’s break an auto repair.

Very unprofessional. Dropped off rotors to get resurfaced. Was told to come back in an hour and a half. Returned in about an hour and 15 minutes. Technician informed me that he had no idea he had the rotor and they would call me when they’re done. So, I drove back home to east Lancaster. About an hour later they called. I returned to pick them up and asked if they’d be willing to give a discount and they laughed saying no one would turn them because they’re special rotors. They also would only accept cash because the credit card machine costs money. Moral of the story do research on businesses before you spend time and money to go there. I’m sure there are plenty of other businesses that are willing and happy to take your business. Also, business owners that will make things right when they mess up to have you return as a customer. As for this business I will never return. I know for a fact there are many other businesses that will love my business and money in the future.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could leave 0 stars I would. Hector is NOT a good mechanic. He was supposed to fix my breaks what you think would be simple because he is establishment is named Js “breaks and auto”. He replaced my rotors and breaks and they are still making a noise. When I went back and tried to get the problem resolved he told me that they were making noise because the rotor needed to be sanded down whatever that means. The problem was still there and he then said that when you get new rotors they will smoke and make a noise. I waited 3 weeks before returning with my original problem my breaks are not fixed he then gave another excuse that the break pads are defective and he will fix the problem. He called himself fixing the problem and they are still not fixed when I asked for my money back he told me that I have to return his breaks and rotors to get a full refund. I then asked for that to be put in writing via email and he refused. So now here we are 3 months later with no resolve and I am out of 372.42 Not to mention that he is scamming the government out of their money because he tells you that if you don’t get a receipt then your price will be different from if you need a receipt I will be reporting him to the BBB.
