The staff were professional and personable. They assured me since I only drive grandkids locally, that coming back in a year was sufficient. No pressure to buy service I didn't need. I was impressed by this honesty as well as the great work done on my 2017 Prius. Happy to recommend.

I recommend it here! They were very kind, honest, and communicative. I went here to get a second opinion after a chain auto repair shop wanted me to get several things repaired/replaced for almost $2,500 and indicated to me that I needed to take care of it asap. The guys at Japanese auto services took a look at it and kindly explained to me that the issues weren’t actually urgent and most of them weren’t even issues at all. They answered all of my questions, provided me with good information, and saved me a LOT of money. Highly recommend these guys! I’ll definitely be taking my car back.

Japanese auto was the best experience I've ever had with an auto shop. They were professional, honest, friendly, and most of all SAVED me a little over $400. They were also very quick and communicated very well, and did not do any unnecessary work. I do not often leave reviews for places, and if I do it's almost always a negative review. But I seriously could not recommend this place enough! I would recommend this place to everyone!

These guys are great and saved the day for me. I was traveling in Ann Arbor and my car suddenly started making a terrible loud sound that felt unsafe (and I was trying to drive 500 miles back home). They were busy on a Friday and couldn’t look at the car until Monday so I took it to another establishment (Convenience Auto who ended up keeping the car until Monday anyway and doing $900 of unnecessary repairs). When I left this other establishment the car began making the noise again almost immediately. I pulled into Japanese Auto rather desperate. They were quickly able to diagnose the problem as a brakes issue and have the part fixed within a couple of hours. I was so relieved they had a great mechanic who could diagnose the problem quickly and correctly. Save yourself time and money and start with these guys. If they are booked, get on their schedule and wait.

We have two Toyotas, before that we had two Hondas, and we have had all of them serviced at Japanese Auto. We trust them and their work, and Japanese Auto charges very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
