Jiffy Lube

All of the employees were very nice. That being said, and maybe some of this is my fault, I am on a limited budget. Here’s what happened: I asked manager how long it would take. She said 15-30 minutes. Fast forward two hours, I was still there. My car is older (1995 Land Cruiser) and certainly needed some maintenance. I told the manager that I could only afford $490. She offered that quote, and then told me she could offer significant discounts to bring that amount even lower. Upon completion of service (2.5 hours in the waiting room), mechanic showed me a bill for nearly $800. As previously mentioned, I couldn’t afford that, but the I of course had to pay for the service, otherwise I could not get my car back. And then….oil and transmission light comes on when I leave. Dear lord please deliver me from these types of experiences. Definitely a learning experience.

I was happy to go to Jiffy Lube on a Sunday afternoon. There is very little waiting. The problem is I was not asked to see what kind of oil I wanted whether I wanted conventional oil or synthetic oil in my vehicle. My vehicle is older and needs conventional oil. I still do not know what kind of oil they put in my vehicle. You do not get any kind of sheet to see what they filled and did not fill to know what levels any fluids you have were at or if anything needs to be looked at or attended to in the future, like most if not all oil lube shops I have ever taken my vehicle. They advertise, on line they can change a fuel filter on your vehicle, But when I got there, they said they could not. This was part of the reason I went to them because not too many places change Fuel filters and that’s one of the reasons I need my vehicle serviced was fuel filter and oil change. The gentleman that helped me with my vehicle, was very friendly and they serviced it quickly. Once again, I’m not sure what was serviced though!

Lucille, the Kia, is running spiffy with her oil change, new oil filter, & new air filter! I had this work done the day before a hike up at Lava Lake. There is a large clean waiting room inside but I sat outside at the picnic table. No appt. needed, just get in line and I was out in under 45 minutes.The new windshield wipers were smart to get installed as the rain came down as I drove towards Big Sky. Car felt great to drive, almost like a new car. Hike was great too! Thank you, Jiffy Lube staff!

My experience at jiffy lube was pretty ideal. I brought my 2009 Audi in and waited no more than 20 minutes and my oil change was already done. All the employees were super nice and helpful as well.

my go to spot (usually) but I'm a little disappointed with the service I received last time. They had to "order"A filter and when they brought it over, it was the wrong one and had to go back two more times to get the right oil filter. I would have at least appreciated a little discount or compensation for the inconvenience of sitting there for an hour and a half when this is supposed to be a quick service bay.
