Jim Burke Ford Service

I had my car picked up at 8 AM WITH APPOINTMENT and I didn’t receive any calls about it throughout the whole day, I called twice they kept telling me that my server advisor was not available. I get off at work at 3 PM and I still haven’t heard from my car so I call again at 2 PM and they are finally telling me what they need to fix and how much it would be charged. Remind you, it was something simple as the lock on my car door was not working and they had the part. They finally called me at 4:30pm That my car was ready. I get there at 5pm and I asked them what time they started working on my car and they said 2 PM.. the time that they finally answered. Even if I had an appointment at 8 AM. Ridiculous and unprofessional. They also could not bring my car back to me because it was close to closing.. I wonder who’s fault that was. Gilbert Garcia my advisor told me that they had a traveling mechanic from San Diego And that’s why it was taking forever.. Are there not other people that help with the Trainee?? Communication would’ve just been great because what if I didnt have a ride to pick up my car then what ? It was also $25 for the part $272 for the labor.. Garcia looked like he felt bad and gave me a discount but still the total price was over 300. Overall, I’m very unhappy and wished they kept me in contact sooner and worked on my car when they said they would at the appointment time.

Matthew was great. Told us he was down to one electrician for the week. He still took the truck in so it could be worked on when time permitted. I had a call 3 days later. My truck was ready. Great job. Thank you

Took my mustangs gt for a recall for the reverse camera got the car back with a break booster seal leak took it to another location to get a diagnostic took it back to ford service Manager says non of his techs are liable and that they can not go based off another shops diognostic then want me to pay 195 just for a diagnostic on top of buying whatever they broke I have video evidence I dropped off the car no issues the day I revived the car back this is a serious case legally and honestly I just want my car to be returned to me the same way I took it in Jim burn Ford dealership on oak st Bakersfield California

Awesome service. Had a recall, they came to my house. Had a bad battery and couldn’t perform the recall repair. Took my battery, replaced/recharged and came back to finish the repair. The service tech communicated what was happening and how they can it done, and everything happened as he explained. Great service all the way around!

We came limping into Jim Burke Ford’s Quick Lane with failing brakes. Our service advisor Yessenia got a mechanic on it right away and our car was fixed and back on the road within 24 hours. To say they saved Christmas is no joke for us as we were on the road to visit family in Oregon. We were also pleased to note our mechanic was a female. Since we don’t hang out in service departments we don’t know if this is rare or common, but it was new to us. It’s nice to see females in traditionally male occupations.
