Have been bringing our cars to John's Garage for many years. Usually maintenance and repairs are done at home, but in the rare occurance the winter weather is bad and a car needs repair, Sparo is my go to mechanic.

Disheartening Experience and Unfair Charges I hope this review finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the recent experiences I’ve had at your shop. It is disheartening to feel that, as a community member, I’m being taken advantage of instead of receiving honest and fair treatment. During my visits to your shop, I have consistently found myself facing unexpectedly high bills. For instance, the $300 labor charge for a part that only costs $125 was particularly shocking. It leaves me questioning whether the charges truly reflect the work done or if there is an emphasis on maximizing profits at the expense of customer trust. It is disconcerting to feel that the local mechanic, someone expected to be a trustworthy member of our community, prioritizes financial gain over honesty and fairness. As a customer, I believe transparency and integrity should be the foundation of any business, especially one that serves its neighbors. I urge you to reconsider your pricing practices and prioritize building lasting relationships with customers based on trust and reliability. My 2015 Jeep Wrangler started making noise from the engine and hesitating. I called John’s garage and they said to bring it right over. After a careful assessment he determined the problem. The job was complex but he was done ahead of schedule and stayed within his estimate. On top of that he changed my oil and my transmission fluid at no extra charge. They were quick, professional and fair! The jeep runs like new! Thank you John’s Garage!
