Sadly, the non-stop expansion of Skechers has resulted in John's closing earlier this summer. Steve and Eric were the best...had been taking my cars there for over 20 years. Believe Eric took over the biz and moved to Torrance. I think the John's phone number forwards to Eric's biz.

Eric and Steve and the rest of the crew are dope! They’ve done all the service on my 2001 Toyota Sequoia since it was new, and it’s still kicking ass in Tahoe, in the snow, on dirt, over rocks, hauling tools, a dirt bike on the back, towing other stuck trucks out, whatever else I find to throw at it. 220k miles. Worth the trip to get it in to these guys... and that’s a 7 hour drive. Not expensive, and (reassuringly) not cheap, and what they fix stays fixed. And they let me know when I’m trying to go overboard on what needs to be done, which has saved me quite a bit over the years. Full recommendation from this kid. They even keep my Mom’s 2000 Jaguar running, no easy task, let me tell you!

Steve is a superstar. I didn't think guys like him existed anymore. Totally professional, quick problem solver, doesn't overcharge and fixes things above and beyond. A real pleasure. My RV broke a few blocks from their shop, he sent one of his guys over to get it to the shop without a tow truck, and got it back to us within hours. I couldn't recommend this service center more. 5 stars!

Solid work and great pricing. I couldn't be happier with the work done on my classic car. They were incredibly detailed and careful. This is now my go to service shop.

John's Service Center has been in business for many decades for a reason. They are solid mechanics who charge a reasonable price and only recomend repairs that are needed. Ask for Steve or Eric.
