I have been bringing my cars to Felix and his team at JP Auto in Simi Valley for years and they never disappoint. I call Felix the Doctor, he knows what’s wrong and fixes the problem quickly and very fairly priced. They are honest and very good and you can get just about any job from an oil change to an engine change, you won’t go wrong going to JP Auto.

My vehicle was in an accident after overcorrecting and hitting a curb, which left the vehicle unable to drive after replacing the cracked wheel with my spare tire. My spouse and I called AAA and they sent us a local tow truck guy whom recommended Felix at J.P Auto. Felix appeared to be an honest guy who offered affordable prices however the vehicle had notable problems after he said the vehicle was safe to drive and received the receipt which stated a 1 year warranty (or 1,000 miles). He did not offer to look into his own work until we had made three extra attempts to have him look at the car. He only offered to replace the clearly damaged, oil leaking axle he installed and the rotor he neglected to notice the first time, after we received a second opinion at a different mechanic shop. Ultimately we had to get a second opinion and even a third opinion from a local Toyota dealership both whom recommended replacing the same axle that Felix had replaced twice. The axle under Felix's warranty was replaced at Toyota and did solve the harmonic oscillations and vibrating, and now the car drives great. We defended Felix's work to the second and third mechanic shops and asked them dozens of questions before they completed any new work. Both of their inspections recommended rework of parts that were installed at J.P Auto by Felix. Felix did eventually do the right thing. But only after the second and third opinions by other mechanic shops. He finally offered a partial refund on the cost of the part, as long as we returned the part to him. Also, he did eventually refund us on labor but only after contacting the Bureau of Automotive Repair which stated we would be entitled to a refund on parts, labor, and taxes. Overall this experience lasted over a month, and Felix was extremely unpleasant once we confronted him on the harmonic shaking. He consistently would defend his work, gaslight us, laugh, and even try to goad us. Would not recommend.

VERY nice and professional independent repair shop. The scam-place I went to BEFORE JP AUTO told me I had to scrap the car, but the tow truck driver helped me and showed me this somewhat-hidden gem! They got my car running, with quality and extremely reasonable pricing. Other issues arose, and I went there FIRST. They replaced my engine, and honored their warranty! My lifestyle and work requires too much from the car, so I decided to see if they wanted to buy it from me. They offered a significantly larger sum of money compared to the dealership or CarMax, but I don't think they buy/sell cars as their focus. Thank you JP Auto for your kind candor, quick service, and magnificent value!

Fixed my car once, decent work and good price. Second time around, I got back because of a problem he caused and he was unprofessional and giving me attitude. Ended up going with someone else.

Felix is Wonderful! I have been going to him for about 3 years now and he always keeps my cars running smoothly! He gets the job done quick and has very reasonable rates. I highly highly recommend him!
