Kamino Truck & Trailer Repair

Beware!! Took our HS trailer in for a wheel bearing. Tech said we needed brakes which we approved. Driver picked up the trailer and drove 130 miles. Said the brakes were not working right. We called a mobile tech the next morning. They took a wheel off and found that all 4 wheel calipers were leaking and all the brakes were metal to metal. The tech that did the work, did not release the cap when he did the front axle brake pads and did not bleed the braking system after doing the pads as well. This has to be done per the brake system manufacturer. When we brought the trailer back, the tech took a torch to our trailer and made bolt holes bigger to remove the calipers. I have attached the pictures of what he did. He would not listen to my driver tell him how to get those bolts out. He cut the holes on both sides of the trailer bigger than what they should be. He sabotaged our trailer because he would not own what he did wrong. The owner Maria tried to say it was my drivers fault and blamed him for the catastrophic brake failure. We took the trailer back to her to have them fix the issues. She drug her feet and kept the trailer for over 2 weeks. She would not go and pick up the parts for the trailer for several days and pulled her tech off of our trailer to work on other equipment instead of finishing ours. The amount of money this shop has costed my company is well over 20k in down time, fuel cost and hotels. I picked this shop because of the good reviews but this was a major screw up and they did not want to own the mistake. When they just touched the braking system. We have the trailer back home and our shop is going to look it over to see if anything structural is wrong with it after the tech took a torch to it and to make sure the bearings and brakes are in good working order. If not we will pursue legal action. I understand mistakes happen. But own your mistakes and fix the problem with respect, don't blame other people. This was not our fault. I understand mistakes happen. But when Maria blamed my driver, delayed getting parts and would not finish our trailer in a timely manner, it has made me really angry about the situation. How can you talk about being a christian and treat your customers like this. Not real christian like. Good luck with getting your trailer repaired with them. Know that if something happens they will accuse you and not take blame.

I highly recommend Kamino truck & repair. They will be there to help you! Maria always tries to find the best option on parts prices and decent hourly labor rate $ . I never have to wait all day once they start the repair or truck maintenance is done quick. They all are nice and friendly people.

Maria is fantastic and the technicians the same!!! Very honest, thorough and knowledgable with very talented mechanical skills. My problems took deep diagnosis to determine the problems and the damage that had been done. They found the issues and solved them all for what I call a very fair price. Very highly recommended.
