My car was fixed in an urgent situation within a few hours and they gave me a fair price!! These guys are great at what they do. Honest and hard working people!

I don't trust this place, I hate to leave a bad review but the first time I came here they fixed the issue without telling me a price and when I got there they told me everything was all set and that I had to pay over $500 dollars. They said they'd do a payment plan (which sucked and had interest) but shouldnt they be telling people the price BEFORE they touch your car at all??I paid it because fine whatever I didn't know if that's how a mechanic is supposed to be and maybe I should've specified to ask me before just fixing things. Yesterday I had another issue and I let them know not to do anything without confirming pricing with me first and they quoted me $373 for replacing an alternator and this is including the labor fee. I agreed to this, then come time to pay and the lady there says it's an extra $225 for labor. I don't like how sneaky they are with pricing and they need to communicate these things clearly and confirm your pricing on paper apparently, or else another secret labor charge will be added last minute. I won't be coming back here which is unfortunate I really thought they were reliable from all the reviews and they're simply not. Save your money.

*Please read other reviews after reading mine! Others are claiming a similar experience to myself in regards to adding additional cost to already agreed upon price!* I have been going to Keith Cheeseman's for YEARS (6+) and have loved every experience the past 6+ years. However, I've noticed since hiring the woman at the front desk the service has gone down extremely in my opinion. On Nov. 6 I took my car to Cheeseman's for a repair at around 11am. At 426pm I called because I had not heard an update regarding my vehicle which is very unusual for Cheeseman's. The woman at the front desk claimed my repair for would $760 to which I confirmed it was okay to make the repair. When I arrived the next day to retrieve my car she told me it was 1400 and she stated she told me over the phone it was 1400 which was untrue (when asked by my brother to confirm she said 1400 she was unable to due to which I have on camera). I proceeded to politely tell her that was not the case and Shane came out and explained he had been with her when she made the initial call for repairs and was in the room when she made the secondary call for repairs stating he watched her call me and that she said additional. I told Shane this was untrue and I was willing to contact the phone company on speaker to confirm that she NEVER called me, I called her so what conversation was he referring to that he was so confident about? Shane left the lobby at this point obviously caught in a lie, no apology nothing just claiming "well I don't know who called who but I heard her say it" So now suddenly you went from watching her call me to not knowing who called who ( I have this interaction on camera as well). After an hour of speaking to family on the phone from a family member's vehicle we decided to pay the amount and contact BBB and our family attorney on our own time. I will never be returning to Keith Cheeseman's which is very sad as I feel I've developed a relationship with the staff and tell everyone I know about their exceptional work. I will be finding a new mechanic and until they get rid of that receptionist I won't be going back and will be sure to tell others about MY experience as well. Despite this whole experience I can say Keith Cheeseman's was an exceptional mechanic before they hired her and I believe they will return to be exceptional when they can own up to her miscommunication and return to operating the phones themselves to avoid these miscommunications which have occurred before during an oil change) . Every interaction I've had with this new employee has been disrespectful and rude (which I shrugged off previously because not my problem, I just want my car fixed). I have NEVER came into that busines being rude, unprofessional or disorderly. I treat all staff there with kindness as I know working on cars is a thankless jobs sometimes. Cheeseman should've never sold the business and I believe I will be one of many coming out to change their previous 5 star review (that stayed up for years) to a 1 star review. This review is based off of MY experience with Keith Cheeseman and is no way meant to defame or disgrace the name of Keith Cheeseman's Service Center. This review isn't indictive of every experience out there. Like I said, they were previously wonderful. Please take into account my review when visiting this location and record every phone call with the "receptionist". I have filed a BBB complaint and look forward to hearing from the business on best resolutions.

Just picked up the car today after getting stuck trying to DIY. The person at the front desk was super friendly and the car seems to be repaired well and the price was fair. We will absolutely be back with all of our cars from here on out.

Very knowledgeable. They do very good work. Have gone there over 20 years. Wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.
