5 stars is a joke! I wanted to update my old review but has been removed. After a blown head gasket 500 miles and zero help from George I pulled the head off to find they never torqued 6 head bolts down. He blamed me for over heating it yet it never ran hot “idiot”. It leaked out of the side of the head. I’ll keep posting this real review as these 5 stars is a huge lie since the last time I reviewed they had many many 1 star reviews. Buy an engine here if you want to rebuild it 500 miles later like I did and several others I’m sure.

This guy is an expert on anything related to a Prius. Everything he said was so accurate. He resolved issues in one day that would have taken over a month for the dealership to do. Another shop in town told us it would be $450 fee just to take the car apart and diagnose the problem. The $450 would be a fee that would not be applied to the price of the repairs. Kha fixed it in a few hours, did not charge a diagnosis fee, and ended up fixing multiple issue including an electrical issue for under a thousand dollars total. The other shop in town told us the repairs would be so expensive that we should just sell this car for parts. I'm so grateful that a friend referred us to King K Auto. He is great with all types of cars.

I recently had rotor replaced As well as getting an engine put in my Toyota last year koa is a knowledgeable and very reliable mechanic as well as a friendly person I would definitely recommend anyone that has issues with there vehicle to take it to his shop he knows his stuff .

I've lived in Albuquerque for a long time. Had my share of mechanics. Khoa is hands down the best I have ever seen. He's friendly, professional, accurate and very knowledgeable. I am amazed at the service he gave me today. Thank you Khoa!

king k and kwa ( hope im spelling it right!) is the man. after bringing my chevy trailblazer to a highly rated ( as it turned out overrated) mecanic in town for a starting issue who kept it overnnight, the mechanic said "oh sorry we thought it was the ignition switch we put a new one on, but it wasnt, so we took it off. we think it has to do with your key and here's the # of a locksmith who can get you a key and re-program things." after calling said locksmith, who told me he'd be happy to take my money, he then told me he was quite sure nothing he could offer would fix the problem. frustrated, i read through the reviews of local mechanics until i came to king k; what got me were the reviews of people who said he figured out the problem when no one else could. i drove up there, really just to make an appointment for it to be seen. kwa looked at it for an hour, even discovering the broken clips left from the steering column the other mechanic (MANGO) had worked on. he didnt figure it out then and there, but he told me to bring it by the next day. he seemed frustrated he couldnt figure it out----so frustrated, he texted me at 9pm that night to tell me he thinks he knew what it was. he explained it WAS the ignition switch-----but you just have to have it in the right position when you put the new one on. when i drove the trailblazer up there today ( and he was willing to come down and get it started because it took a half hour for it to catch) my wife followed me up, we dropped it off, and no more than 10 minutes later kwa called to tell me it was done, and it WAS the ignition switch. price: $100.00. if you have ANY auto repair problem, this is your guy. he seems to take it as a challenge to find your issue, and he ENJOYS getting to the bottom of it.
