Klis Brothers North Shore Firestone

Had my car towed in to fix a flat and to cut the bolt holding the spare down to the trunk. Jose told me i was looking at about 250 for a new tire plus labor. He alleges he also told me that they wanted to replace 2 tires. Both the flat and the front right tire "because it has low treads". The only issue with this is, the treads on all of the other tires are in great condition (they're fairly new winter tires, only driven 1 season). And I'm certain he never mentioned this, because if he did I would have told him no. I do not have the money for 2 tires at the moment. There is no world in which I would have agreed to this. To add to it, I found out that they "disposed of" both of the tires, including the good tire when I went looking in the trunk for it... They threw out a tire that was fine and charged me 100$ for it. The total bill I was expecting was somewhere around 300-400$ after labor. It ended up being closer to 700$. I couldn't even argue that he never told me this because it was just my word against his. I sat in the lobby getting gaslit into believing he told me they wanted to dispose of and replace 2 tires when only 1 was flat, and I had no recourse because I had no proof of the conversation we had 5 days prior. They're going to respond to this and reiterate that they told me this over the phone. I promise they didn't, i would have NEVER agreed to 2 tires because i don't have the money for it. If he had actually told me they wanted to do 2 tires i would have said we need to wait on the second tire.

This is my second time at Klis Brothers Firestone. Tony is awesome and all the guys that work here work very well together and are professional, honest and hard working . Alex, the mechanic who work on my vehicle both times is thorough, precise and extremely observation. Great diagnostician !Excellent work to resolve my cars issues bith times

Been servicing my cars there for years. Always honest estimates and repairs, and very fair prices. I don’t trust my vehicles to anyone else. The whole team, there, are terrific. I highly recommend them. No more visits to the dealer places. They always ripped us off. I’m thrilled to have found them. Thanks, Tony for all you do! 👍🏼 I always appreciate it! 🙏🏼

I originally found this shop when I needed a tow for my 2002 Cad Seville. Not only did they tow it but Tony followed up and also continued to provide service and repair that was outstanding. I moved out of state 12 years ago and really miss these guys. I had my engine repaired and rebuilt before the move by the expert mechanics at Klis and I made it all the way to VA with no issues! NO ONE like this shop down here. In fact Tony even sent some cleaner by mail after I moved gratis. More businesses need to be run this way. I recall memorabilia in their waiting room. ( still have that blue seltzer bottle Tony!)
