My husbands car broke down right outside of Lakeview around 630pm on July 3rd and Dave came out and helped us try to jump it and when that didn't work he helped us push it back a few feet to his parking lot. He fixed it and we had it home by today the 5th! I have no doubt it would have been the 4th if it hadn't been the holiday! We will definitely be going back with all of our car troubles in the future! The reviews for this place could not be more accurate! Dave is a really nice personable guy. I had him do a used car inspection for me on a vehicle I was thinking of buying (and did buy). Dave took the car for a test drive with me, took his time looking over previous codes thrown and checking everything out physically as well. He gave me honest opinions and in the end 2 thumbs up. I have had 2 other inspections within the past 6 months with other good and nice mechanics but I have to say Dave was my favorite and I felt he took more time and went over the car much better than the other guys. I highly recommend his shop and would go there again!

I have been taking my vehicles to Lakeview automotive for 14 years. Dave has excellent customer service and is a truly honest mechanic. (hard to find these days) A master at diagnosis and the work is nothing shy of top tier. I have 100% satisfaction over numerous visits and quite a few vehicles. The only place I confidently refer my friends and family! If you want a job done AND DONE THE RIGHT WAY! LOOK NO FURTHER.

Dave at Lakeview really looked out for me when I was without a vehicle for nearly a month. I took my car to another shop in the Waterford area, before Lakeview, and it was there for 2 weeks before they finally had it towed to Lakeview when they couldn't figure out the problem. They did change a part, but the car still wasn't starting at all. Dave had the issue diagnosed and had a specialist into the shop to fix the ignition sensor issue at-hand. Unfortunately, he also had to undo the previous shop's "fix" and reinstall the original part. It took a few days for all of this, but it was a rare issue and he explained every step of the process to me in terms that were easy for someone not into cars to easily understand. He charged a very fair price and was fully transparent. He doesn't hide anything from the customer and he doesn't nickel and dime you. Within a week, Dave had me back on the road and I've had no issues since then with my 2001 Honda Civic. If I do have any further problems with my car, I'll be taking it to Dave first, because he's going to tell you the facts of the situation and try to save you a couple bucks in the process. Seriously recommend this place after being to quite a few mechanics / shops around the area.
